BRSR FY 2025–26 is entering the final stretch and timelines are tighter than they appear.

For most listed companies, disclosures are expected by May–June 2026. With assurance cycles typically taking 6–8 weeks, the window to initiate and complete the process is already narrowing.

SEBI’s direction is clear: ESG reporting must move beyond disclosure to verified, assurance-backed data.
• BRSR Core now requires reasonable assurance for the Top 500
• BRSR Non-Core requires limited assurance for the Top 1000

What we’re seeing across the market: organizations underestimate the time required for data validation, site verification and audit readiness. This often leads to last-minute pressure and increased compliance risk.
