We believe the best leaders are built from within, and Gaurav's journey from Executive Vice President – Finance & Taxation to CFO is a true testament to that belief. Gaurav is a Chartered Accountant and brings over two decades of experience across finance, taxation, treasury, controllership, audits, compliance, and ERP implementation.

This appointment reflects our continued commitment to strengthening internal leadership and building a future-ready organisation. The CII MCED Government–Industry Roundtable held in Ranchi brought together senior government officials, industry leaders, and stakeholders from the mining and construction equipment ecosystem for discussions focused on collaboration, sectoral growth, and future readiness.

Mr. Vivek Bhatia, Chairman, CII National Mining & Construction Equipment Division (MCED) and MD & CEO, TKIL Industries Ltd, participated in the dialogue, highlighting the industry’s collective focus on strengthening the mining and construction equipment ecosystem through deeper industry-government engagement.

Government representatives participating in the interaction included Mr. Arava Rajkamal, IAS, Secretary, Department of Mines & Geology & Department of Industries, Government of Jharkhand; Mr. Rahul Kumar Sinha, IAS, Director Mines; Mr. Varun Ranjan, IAS, Managing Director, JIADA & JIIDCO; and Mr. Vishal Sagar, IAS, Director, Department of Industries.

Mr. Ali Asgar – Sr. GM, delivered a session on “polytrack® eco – The Next Generation of Clinker Cooling Efficiency,” while Mr. Ritesh Chakravorty – GM, presented on “Evolution of Cement WHR Systems with Continual Improvements,” sharing insights into technologies advancing efficiency, performance, and sustainability across cement operations.
