This approach ensures a good correlation of lab vs test-track testing of the vehicle.

This comes into effect from 1st April 2027. WLTP procedure gives an option for determination of vehicle road load through wind tunnel and dynamometer facilities in combination.
This certification offered to Mercedes-Benz India, marks a first-of-its-kind facility approval under CMVR. It’s a milestone which sets a new benchmark in the process of advanced vehicle testing and validation.
ARAI reaffirms its commitment to such pioneering achievements, enabling innovative automotive technologies and upholding global standards in India.
