We were pleased to welcome Mr. Vivek Nesarikar, Director- Group Engineering Centre- Unilever, to Kirloskar Chillers and Kirloskar Oil Engines for insightful discussions on decarbonisation, energy efficiency and the future of industrial utilities.

From smarter water management and sustainable cooling technologies to digital utilities and the electrification of heating processes, we explored opportunities across multiple focus areas that play a vital role in helping industries reduce their environmental footprint. The discussion on our chillers, heat pumps, microgrids, solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), ATCS, Air Purifier, Water to Energy further reflected our commitment to building clean technology solutions.

As industries work towards ambitious climate goals, including Unilever's commitment to reduce its Scope 1 and Scope 2 operational emissions by 100% by 2030 against a 2015 baseline, partnerships like these become catalysts for meaningful progress.

The IGBC Pune Chapter convened the Green Sabha on 18th July 2026, bringing together industry leaders to explore the future of sustainable data centres.
