Other essentials: Conversant with design software, latest national and international guidelines, Quantity take off and estimation.

Central Public Health Engineering & Environment Organization (CPHEEO), Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) had organized a National Level Conference at New Delhi on 21st of December 2021 on ‘Technical Conference cm Exhibition on 24x7 Water Supply Systems’. The event was attended by more than 600 participants. The participants were high level top decision makers from respective Urban Local Bodies.
The focus of the conference was to introduce the guidelines for Amrut 2.0 and issues pertaining to 24x7 water supply to the urban local bodies.
Mr. Mahesh Pathak, CMD, Unity Group presented the issues of intermittent water supply versus 24x7 water supply with Shri. Durga Shanker Mishra, Secretary, MoHUA , Smt. D Thara, Joint Secretary & Mission Director (AMRUT), MoHUA and Dr. M. Dhinadhyalan Advisor CPHEEO, GoI.
Mr. Mahesh Pathak and Mr. Meherzade Dubash along with Team Unity, have been instrumental in successfully organizing and coordinating the entire conference for CPHEEO along with team GIZ India.
Dr. Shrikant Gabale, Director- Unity Geospatial delivered a speech as GIS Expert and one of the panellists on ‘Role of GIS and SCADA technologies in 24x7 water supply in India.‘
The team comprising of M. Rajeshwari Kishore, Abhijeet Chakrey and Amit Shinde sorted, studied, analysed the data along with team of CPHEEO for the selection of participating cities. The various initiatives of the participating cities were evaluated and conclusively gave technical inputs for the presentation of the Scheme through Panels prepared.
The event was presided over by Shri Durga Shanker Mishra, Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Smt. D. Thara, Joint Secretary and Mission Director (Amrut Mission), Dr. Dhinadhayalan, Advisor, CPHEEO, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Mr. Ernst Doering, Cluster Coordinator, Sustainable Urban and Industrial Development (SUID), GIZ India, Dr. Rama Kant, Deputy Advisor, CPHEEO, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
Water Supply experts from all over India gave various presentations and shared their experience, views and their insights about 24x7 water supply system.

UNITY GROUP WITH ITS UNIQUE WAY OF CELEBRATING FRIENDSHIP DAY!

Where the world is facing the problem of the COVID pandemic, here in Maharashtra people are facing another big problem of flooding.

Unity Group is working in the field of Water & Sanitation for the last two decades and so it understands the problems related to this field.

As UNITY FAMILY got to know from one of its members about the flooding problem in Raigad district in Birwadi village, it decided to help the people out there.
On UNITY’s one appeal, all its team members helped in terms of cash and kind. Management helped on their level. With the help of the administration department, kits were prepared with twenty-five essential items from Rice, Atta, Toordaal, Cooking oil, Sugar to Phenyl, Kharataa, and Masks. The tempo truck was departed with Unity volunteers on August 01 at 06:00 AM (Friendship Day). Donated those kits to eighty families.
This initiative was done with 'Joy of Sharing Forever'.

First month of 2021….
We are happy to share that our surveillance Audit (SA) for ISO 9001-2015 was scheduled on 09th January 2021 to reconfirm that the organisation continues to adhere to the Quality Principles, in accordance with standards and the Guidelines by the Auditors from Bureau Veritas (India) Pvt. Ltd.

We are really thankful to the Management of Bureau Veritas (India) Pvt. Ltd. –Pune for the useful guidance and the support extended for last 11 years and the valuable inputs from the various auditors from time to time which has resulted in making the system to the desired expectations by the assessing authority. We are also thankful to the auditors – Mr. Sudarshan Godbole and Mr S. N. Godbole from Bureau Veritas (India) Pvt. Ltd.-Pune for their guidance and support extended during the audit.

The entire Team Unity is happy to share that SA-Surveillance Audit was successfully completed without a single NC-Non Conformity for the 11th consecutive year….
