e in the form of Chotekhani Maifal (small and up-close performing space). In this musical interaction, Shuddhanaad provides platform to the budding artists who practice Indian Classical Music and are building their professions out of their Riyaaz (practice). Meaningful give-and-take between artists and audience is an important aspect and asset of Shuddhanaad. Since last 4 years, Shuddhanaad has hosted 35 Chotekhani Maifal through which
connected with more than 100 artists across India. Chotekhani Maifal desires to bring the artist and the audience closer from the formality of the stage to the ease intimacy of the living room. After arranging Chotekhani Maifal for about 4 years and continuing, Shuddhanaad came up with an idea of ‘Exclusive Chotekhani Maifal’. These are presented as themed and conceptualized concerts, talks about rare classical and semi classical music genres, lecture demonstrations by stalwarts and interactive sessions with musicologists. Along with presenting budding artists, Shuddhanaad has also hosted veterans like Vidwan T.M. Arun Kashalkar and many more through Shuddhanaad’s Commercial Events & Musical Productions. Shuddhanaad believes on maintaining archives which will help further research. It
shall keep the tasteful audience intrigued. Through “Shuddhanaad Archives” Shuddhanaad promotes, supports, and encourage education, research and development in the field of Indian art forms and culture.
