Shuddhanaad is an organization which nurtures the Elite Tradition of Chotekhanimaifal to promote Hin Krishna, Padmashree Pt. Venkatesh Kumar, Pt.

Shuddhanaad (Shuddha: pure/ genuine, Naad: sound/ voice) is a Pune based organization aiming to nurture purest form of Indian Classical Music. Staying true to its name, Shuddhanaad tries to preserve honest musical interaction between artists and audience. Ashwin Godbole (Tabla artist & Engineer), Anup Kulthe (Violinist) & Kapil Jagtap
(Commercial photographer) laid a foundation for this preservenc

e in the form of Chotekhani Maifal (small and up-close performing space). In this musical interaction, Shuddhanaad provides platform to the budding artists who practice Indian Classical Music and are building their professions out of their Riyaaz (practice). Meaningful give-and-take between artists and audience is an important aspect and asset of Shuddhanaad. Since last 4 years, Shuddhanaad has hosted 35 Chotekhani Maifal through which
connected with more than 100 artists across India. Chotekhani Maifal desires to bring the artist and the audience closer from the formality of the stage to the ease intimacy of the living room. After arranging Chotekhani Maifal for about 4 years and continuing, Shuddhanaad came up with an idea of ‘Exclusive Chotekhani Maifal’. These are presented as themed and conceptualized concerts, talks about rare classical and semi classical music genres, lecture demonstrations by stalwarts and interactive sessions with musicologists. Along with presenting budding artists, Shuddhanaad has also hosted veterans like Vidwan T.M. Arun Kashalkar and many more through Shuddhanaad’s Commercial Events & Musical Productions. Shuddhanaad believes on maintaining archives which will help further research. It
shall keep the tasteful audience intrigued. Through “Shuddhanaad Archives” Shuddhanaad promotes, supports, and encourage education, research and development in the field of Indian art forms and culture.

Roots 2 : The Journey Within,

Shuddhanaad remains committed to preserving these honest musical interactions that connect us to our spiritual core. This production is an ode to the Sant Parampara, inviting listeners on a journey of introspection, truth, and self-discovery.

We are proud to present 1st Abhanga of the series "Kaise Karu Dhyan", a deeply insightful composition written by Sant Tukaram and composed by Pt. Vitthalrao Jagtap. Presented beautifully by Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee Shri Nagesh Adgaonkar, this rendition carries the essence of devotion and surrender, much like the timeless tradition of the Waari.
