We are excited to announce the fourth speaker of 4.0 edition of TEDxCOEP, Ms.Amita Deshpande Paranjpe- Eco-social woman, Founder and CEO of reCharkha.

An IT Engineer by basic education, she went on to do her Masters at Purdue University, USA with a focus on Sustainability. With her EcoSocial vision ,she founded reCharkha which upcycles the plastic waste to fashionable bags and other accessories. Ms.Amita not only managed to find ways to deal with the ever-growing plastic waste through upcycling, but also provides livelihood to tribal women. Use of simple tools instead of industrial equipment has brought about sustainability and employment alike.

Krushnaa Patil is an Indian mountaineer who became the youngest Indian woman to successfully ascend Mount Everest at the age of 19. Her summits not only inspire young mountaineers to scale heights, but also motivate them to set their eyes on new horizons. Her talks focus on achieving the impossible, success against the odds, and conquering personal challenges through her diverse experiences.

We are honoured to present, Padmashree Dr. Pramod Kale, Ex- Director of SAC & VSSC, ISRO.

Dr. Kale is a space scientist who joined the Indian Space efforts in 1962 right from the launch of the first rocket in Thumba and continued as a part of the team for over three decades. He has held several key positions in ISRO including the Project Director of INSAT 1. He became the Director at Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC) in 1994. He has inspired youth by sharing his experiences and revolution of Indian Space Programs and the Role of youth in future.
