High-temperature dust-laden flue gases generated in steel and metal processing industries represent a significant untapped source of energy. However, challenges such as high SPM levels and the absence of an immediate heat consumer often prevent effective Waste Heat Recovery.
Traditional Gas Cleaning Plants cool flue gases before filtration, resulting in the loss of valuable thermal energy and increased operating costs. Ceramic Cartridge Filters offer a smarter alternative by operating at flue gas temperatures of 700–900°C while delivering emissions below 10 mg/Nm³, and even below 5 mg/Nm³.
Recovered heat can further be utilized for power generation or absorption chilling, creating new opportunities for energy savings and improved efficiency.
