My journey here has been an incredibly enriching and transformative experience. Over the course of the program, I had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with several advanced technologies in the field of SMART Industrial Automation — including industrial robots, collaborative robots (cobots), SolidWorks, PLC programming, SCADA systems, and the integration of these technologies.

Working with industrial robots and cobots gave me insights into real-world industrial applications, motion control, and human-robot interaction. Through SolidWorks, I strengthened my skills in 3D modeling and mechanical design — from creating digital prototypes to understanding tolerance analysis and the overall design-to-manufacturing process.

In PLC programming, I worked extensively on ladder logic, sensor integration, actuator control, and logic development for automated industrial processes. My exposure to SCADA systems further expanded my understanding of real-time data acquisition, HMI screen development, and the seamless integration of PLCs for efficient system monitoring and control.

I’m truly grateful for the mentorship, guidance, and collaborative environment provided by SSIGMA. This internship not only deepened my technical expertise but also shaped my professional mindset and prepared me for real-world challenges in industrial automation.
