We have millions of people affected by HIV/AIDS, and People are not aware that the number of new infections and deaths is not decreasing fast enough.
✓ Population role HIV AIDs :
➡️ Millions people including children, remain untreated, and severe inequality prevents people from getting the care there are need.
➡️ Key Population Men who have s*x with men, transgender people, s*x workers, or people who inject drugs or are in prison continue to care.
✓ INDIA :
➡️ HIV infections are declining in India, but there are still an estimated 24.01 lakh patients in the country, including 51,000 children. Most of these patients are concentrated in eight states, including Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Telangana, the centre told the Rajya Sabha.
➡️ As per the government's HIV Estimation 2021 report, the number of People Living with HIV (PLHIV) in India is 24.01 lakh, said Minister of State of Health and Family Welfare Bharati Pravin Pawar in a written reply.
Around 45 percent (10.83 lakh) of total estimated PLHIV are women, and 2 percent -- about 51,000 -- are children below the age of 12 years.
✓Conclusion :
We must take care of our health and our health status should checked out periodically to remain away from this deadly disease. We should also motivate and suggest others to do the same. This disease cannot eradicated from the society; so, we must focus on its prevention.
