✨ Empowering Young Minds in Mangaon! 🎒📚

At POSCO Maharashtra Steel, we believe education shapes the future. Building on our 4-year legacy with 5,716 school kits distributed so far, we added 2,009 essential kits across 89 Raigad Zilla Parishad schools in Mangaon Taluka under our latest CSR drive! 🏫✨

🎒 What’s inside the kits?
Durable school bags, notebooks, complete stationery sets, drawing supplies, slates, and stainless steel water bottles—carefully chosen to meet daily learning needs! 🖊️🎨💧

🤝 Employee Engagement:
Our dedicated employees personally visited the schools to distribute the kits, engage in warm interactions with the students, and share moments of joy! 😊🌟

Investing in Her Dreams. Empowering Her Future. 💗

As part of its “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” initiative, POSCO Maharashtra Steel Pvt. Ltd. has been supporting girl children in the Bhagad Gram Panchayat area since 2017.

✨ This year, 6 eligible girl children born during January–December 2025 received Fixed Deposits of ₹50,000 each, creating a financial foundation for their future education and development.

🌱 With these 6 new additions, a total of 106 girl children have been supported through this initiative since its inception in 2017.

The Fixed Deposit Receipt Distribution Programme was held on 11 August 2026 at Bhagad Gram Panchayat, in the presence of the girl children, their parents, Gram Panchayat representatives and POSCO Maharashtra Steel officials.

As part of our ongoing CSR commitment to strengthening rural education, we are proud to have inaugurated the renovation of three schools, each addressing a critical community need:

🌿 Sushilatai Pawar High School Bhale – Rebuilt and restored after suffering severe damage caused by a cyclone, ensuring students can continue their education in a safe environment.

🏫 RZP School Kadape – Renovated to replace the deteriorated infrastructure and resolve long-standing roof leakage issues, creating a secure and comfortable space for learning.

🚻 RZP School Chande Adiwasiwadi – Upgraded through essential toilet repairs, improving sanitation, hygiene, and the overall well-being of students.

Every child deserves access to a safe, dignified, and inspiring school. These initiatives reflect our commitment to building stronger communities by investing in education and creating lasting social impact.

🌱 Growing Trees. Empowering Farmers. Building a Sustainable Future.

At POSCO Maharashtra Steel, sustainability is not just about planting trees - it’s about creating lasting opportunities for rural communities.

Aligned with the Government of Maharashtra’s Majhi Vasundhara Abhiyan and Shashwat Krishi Vikas, our CSR initiative has successfully distributed 13,693 fruit and medicinal saplings of 45 different species to more than 1,200 farmers across 30 Gram Panchayats.

Over the past four years, we have distributed 34,000+ saplings, encouraging farmers to adopt fruit-based and medicinal plantations that generate sustainable income while conserving the environment. By promoting economically valuable fruit trees such as mango, jackfruit, guava, chikoo, jamun, and coconut, along with medicinal plants suitable for intercropping, we are helping farming communities strengthen their livelihoods and build resilience for the future.

This initiative reflects our commitment to creating a greener environment while empowering farmers with sustainable agricultural practices that benefit generations to come.

🩸 Celebrating the Spirit of Voluntary Blood Donation | World Blood Donor Day 2026

As part of World Blood Donor Day 2026, POSCO Maharashtra proudly organized its 20th Blood Donation Camp on 12th June 2026, reaffirming our commitment to community health and social responsibility.

Over the journey of 20 blood donation camps, an inspiring 1,550 units of blood have been donated with the participation of more than 850 employees, showcasing the remarkable spirit of employee engagement and volunteerism.

To mark this milestone, a Blood Donors Appreciation Ceremony was organized to recognize the consistent blood donors from POSCO Maharashtra and its Family Companies for their invaluable contribution and continued support in promoting voluntary blood donation.

The event concluded with a collective pledge to donate blood regularly and spread awareness about voluntary and unpaid blood donation, inspiring everyone to become a part of this life-saving movement.

🌿 Building Joyful Spaces for Young Minds

As part of our ongoing CSR initiatives, playground equipment has been successfully installed at Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram School, Mangaon and Raigad Zilla Parishad School, Bhagad.

The newly installed facilities include slides, swings, horizontal bars, loop rings, and seesaws—designed to encourage physical activity and support the holistic development of students.

🎉 The inauguration ceremony was held on 9th April in a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere, in the presence of our esteemed dignitaries.

😊 The smiles and excitement of children while enjoying the new play area truly reflect the impact of this initiative.

🌿 Strengthening Rural Healthcare, Digitally & On Ground

POSCO Maharashtra Steel continues its commitment towards building stronger and healthier communities through impactful CSR initiatives in Mangaon Taluka.

🏥 Digital Empowerment of Primary Health Centres
To enhance efficiency and accessibility in rural healthcare, computer sets and printers were distributed across Primary Health Centres. This initiative will support digital record-keeping, faster patient services, and improved healthcare delivery.

👩‍⚕️ Support to ASHA Sevika – Frontline Health Heroes
Recognizing the crucial role of ASHA workers, essential medical kits were distributed to 137 ASHA Sevikas. These kits will enable them to deliver timely care, improve maternal & child health services, and strengthen grassroots healthcare systems.
