🌿 Strengthening Rural Healthcare, Digitally & On Ground

POSCO Maharashtra Steel continues its commitment towards building stronger and healthier communities through impactful CSR initiatives in Mangaon Taluka.

🏥 Digital Empowerment of Primary Health Centres
To enhance efficiency and accessibility in rural healthcare, computer sets and printers were distributed across Primary Health Centres. This initiative will support digital record-keeping, faster patient services, and improved healthcare delivery.

👩‍⚕️ Support to ASHA Sevika – Frontline Health Heroes
Recognizing the crucial role of ASHA workers, essential medical kits were distributed to 137 ASHA Sevikas. These kits will enable them to deliver timely care, improve maternal & child health services, and strengthen grassroots healthcare systems.

💡 These initiatives aim to:
✔ Improve healthcare accessibility in rural areas
✔ Strengthen digital health infrastructure
✔ Empower frontline health workers
✔ Ensure faster, transparent and efficient services

🇮🇳 Celebrating the 77th Republic Day at POSCO Maharashtra Steel 🇮🇳

POSCO Maharashtra Steel proudly celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India on 26th January 2026 at its premises, reaffirming our commitment to the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution.

The celebration was graced by the presence of our dedicated security guards and POSCO employees, who came together in a spirit of unity and national pride.

On this occasion, POSCO Maharashtra Steel also honoured five outstanding security guards for their exceptional performance, dedication, and unwavering commitment to maintaining safety and discipline at the workplace. Their contribution was warmly appreciated by all present.

POSCO Maharashtra Steel successfully completed 16th school renovation at R.Z.P. School, Gangavali (Centre of 7 schools). On 22nd December 2025 POSCO’s officers, alongside Block Education Officer Mrs. Surekha Tambat, inaugurated the revamped campus.

What was once a school in critical condition is now a safe, vibrant, and modern space for 57 bright students.

The Transformation:
✅ New roofing, electrical, and plumbing work
✅ Fully renovated kitchen and sanitation facilities
✅ Freshly painted classrooms to spark creativity

"We are honored to provide a safe environment where children can thrive," said Mr. Young Ha Kim during a moving interaction with the students.

With this 16th project, POSCO Maharashtra continues its mission to strengthen local education infrastructure. We aren't just building steel; we are building the foundations of tomorrow. 🇮🇳

🌼 Building Futures. Empowering Girls. Creating Lasting Impact.

At POSCO Maharashtra Steel, our CSR efforts are rooted in driving long-term community transformation. Through the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao initiative, we are supporting 100 girl children from rural communities by creating a ₹50,000 Fixed Deposit in each child’s name, secured until she turns 18 to support her higher education journey.

🌟 Bringing Light Back to Life - 328 Cataract Surgeries Completed 🌟

For many senior citizens in rural Maharashtra, fading vision had become a silent struggle.
POSCO Maharashtra Steel turned that struggle into hope.

Through our Health Care Initiative, we have successfully completed 328 completely free cataract surgeries across five gram panchayats - offering screening, surgery, medicines, transportation, and post-operative care at zero cost.

The moment our patients open their eyes after surgery and see the world clearly again…

This initiative reflects our belief that quality healthcare should reach every home, every village, and every citizen - regardless of financial condition.
