⚡ Big Update: MNRE Extends Non-DCR Solar Exemption to Dec 31, 2026!⚡

Dear Industrial Partner,

Good news for your plant's energy transition! The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has officially extended the exemption window for Net-Metering and Open Access solar projects.

You can now commission your industrial rooftop or open-access solar plant using cost-effective, high-efficiency Non-DCR modules (exempt from ALMM List-II cell requirements) for all projects commissioned on or before 31 December 2026.

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has extended the relief period for eligible Net-Metering and Open Access commercial/industrial renewable energy projects. Businesses can now continue using Non-DCR (imported or non-ALMM listed) solar panels until December 31, 2026
