MAS GMR Aerospace Engineering Company Limited (MGAE) is an integrated World class, first of its kind - airport owned and operated, State of the Art, third party, Aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Limited, Hyderabad, India. MGAE intends to provide a better MRO infrastructure and end-to-end facilities to cater to its “airline customers”. The salient features of the Financial Closure are as follows:
The Overall project cost is Rs.309 Crores which would be funded by way of Rs.77 Crores of equity and Rs.232 Crores of debt. The Debt component of Rs.232 Cr is syndicated among M/s State Bank of Hyderabad, M/s Andhra Bank and M/s State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur. The MRO facility is designed to perform base maintenance checks with one wide body, two narrow body and one narrow body cm paint hangars. These hangars will be supported by the workshops that are necessary for airframe heavy maintenance. The facility is anticipated to be in operation from July 2011 with necessary certifications from DGCA and EASA.
