Atal Tinkering Lab at Air Force School, Bagdogra was formed under the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) program of Niti Aayog, Government of India.
Atal Innovation Mission(AIM) is an initiative under Niti Aayog to promote innovation and entrepreneurship. (https://www.aim.gov.in/overview.php).
AIM intends to create a million child innovators in India though its Atal Tinkeing Labs (ATL’s).
ATLs objective is to promote creative, innovative mind set in schools. ATLs are 1200-1500 sqft innovative workspaces in schools with do-it-yourself (DIY) kits on latest technologies like 3D Printers, Robotics, Internet of Things (IOT).
