Celebrating

On this day in 1998, India etched its name in history with the successful nuclear tests at Pokhran under Operation Shakti. These tests, led by the brilliance of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Dr. R. Chidambaram, and many other visionary scientists, marked a turning point in India’s journey toward self-reliance in defense and technology.

May 11 stands as a tribute to India's scientific excellence and technological resilience — a reminder of how far we've come and the limitless possibilities ahead.

Let’s honor our innovators, scientists, and engineers who fuel the spirit of a technologically empowered India.

🌍 Returning to Earth after months in space brings both excitement and physical challenges! 🚀
Astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore, after an extraordinary mission aboard the ISS, are preparing for their return to Earth. While their accomplishments in space are nothing short of inspiring — from breaking spacewalking records to conducting crucial scientific research (growing 'Outredgeous' romaine lettuce) — they’ll also face some unique post-flight hurdles.
One of the most intriguing effects of prolonged space travel is the loss of foot calluses, a phenomenon astronauts call "baby feet." This happens due to the lack of gravity that typically helps build calluses on Earth. Along with this, they’ll experience dizziness and nausea as their bodies readjust to Earth's gravity, a process that can take weeks. 🌍
We salute Sunita and Butch for their incredible work in space and look forward to their safe return!

INDIA'S MINI STEPHEN HAWKING!

At the age of 9, Hridayeshwar Singh Bhati became India’s Youngest Patent Holder and the World’s Youngest Differently-Abled Patent Holder, all while battling Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

This condition left 85% of his body paralyzed.

Hridayeshwar didn’t just play chess, he reinvented it! Despite his challenges, he created Circular Chess, a brilliant innovation that lets 6, 12, and even 60 players join the game.

His work took India to new heights in the world of chess variants, earning him the title "Mini Stephen Hawking" by international media.

But his brilliance didn’t stop at chess.

He designed innovative mobility solutions for wheelchair users, creating modified vehicles that make transportation easier and more accessible for people with disabilities.

He was honored with the title of "Most Outstanding Inventor Child" by the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, along with national recognition and awards from the Government of India.

"The only disability is low self-esteem. People who cannot walk can fly with their attitude." is his message to the world.

Unfortunately, Hridayeshwar left us at just 18, but his legacy remains a powerful symbol of resilience, creativity, and determination.

Let’s honor this young innovator by sharing his story!
