There is a repulsive perception from some section in the transformer industry that a slowdown in large government construction projects could negatively impact the transformer industry. I see it differently.

Over the last few years, transformer manufacturers in India have significantly shifted their focus toward the renewable energy sector especially solar and wind power. This transition is changing the industry’s growth drivers.

Today, demand is increasingly coming from:
• Solar parks
• Wind energy projects
• Green energy corridors
• Battery storage systems
• Transmission upgrades for renewable integration

Unlike earlier years, the industry is no longer dependent solely on large government projects, real estate or infrastructure construction activity. India’s energy transition ambitions, rising power demand, and renewable capacity additions continue to create substantial opportunities for transformer manufacturers.

As a result, the impact of the government’s decision to slow or stall certain large construction projects may be relatively minimal for many players in the transformer sector.

The industry already evolved from an infrastructure-linked cycle to an energy-transition-led growth story.

Today morning, I got a message from my friend Sanjay Lamba mentioning the Red Queen effect. Curious, I looked it up. What I found was simple… yet powerful.

“We must run as fast as we can, just to stay in place.
And if we wish to go anywhere, we must run twice as fast.”

— From Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll

This isn’t just a line from a book. It’s how the world works. Everything around us is constantly evolving whether it is markets, technology, geopolitics or energy.

Standing still is not stability anymore. It’s decline.
In transformer space i.e. my industry:

• Raw material volatility is reshaping the industry
• Supply chains are no longer predictable
• After sales service is becoming scarce

So, Are we adapting to the changing world order…or anticipating it—and changing to lead?

Because in today’s world running keeps you relevant and acceleration makes you a leader. And that’s why, I feel, the Red Queen effect is not just relevant today but it is perpetually relevant in times to come.

As we close the financial year today, we 3Si Eco Power hope it has been a year of meaningful growth for all of you , not just in business performance, but in creating value for society and the environment as well.

We extend our best wishes to our peers across the industry, and to businesses in every sector, for a successful and prosperous new financial year ahead.

At the same time, we pause to wish for something beyond business: peace, safety, and well-being for humanity across the world.

Here’s to growth with purpose in the year ahead.

Solar is no longer “green”, it’s strategic.
Till recently, solar energy was about sustainability. Today, it’s about security, stability, and independence. The present geopolitical conflict reminds us of one hard truth:
If your energy depends on someone else… your economy does too.

That’s why solar is exploding globally:
No imports needed
No fuel price shocks
No geopolitical choke points
Just from sunlight comes the power and independence.

Solar doesn’t eliminate petroleum overnight. But it attacks demand from two sides: Energy substitution like solar powered grids, electric vehicles and by Gradual feedstock replacement like bio materials, hydrogen, etc.

The less we use petroleum products, the more slump in the demand for oil.

This transition won’t be sudden. But it is structural… and irreversible.
The real disruption isn’t just replacing oil. It’s reducing its importance everywhere.

In India this can be a turning point. From rooftops to mega solar parks, the shift is real and accelerating. For example: In the past 10 days, the sales of induction stoves hit the sky. For LPG, people are substituting with induction stoves. The less we use petroleum products, the more slump in the demand for oil.

This isn’t just an energy transition, it’s an economic transformation.

The real question is:
Are we treating solar as a compliance requirement…or as a national advantage?
Because the future won’t be decided by who has oil.
It will be decided by who controls energy infrastructure and technology.

A year of performance. A year of partnership.
Last year, we successfully supplied and installed 10 power transformers across two sites of a prestigious power plant project in Saudi Arabia. Today, it is gratifying to see them operating reliably and contributing to critical power infrastructure.

Recently, our Managing Partner conducted a routine site visit to review performance, interact with the project team, and reaffirm our commitment to long-term reliability and service support. For us, project completion is not the end, it is the beginning of a sustained partnership.

At 3Si Eco Power, we don’t just deliver transformers.
We deliver accountability, leadership involvement, and enduring performance. We sincerely thank our valued client for their continued trust and confidence in us.

Powering infrastructure. Strengthening relationships. Delivering beyond supply.

Rain or shine, day or night, we honour our delivery commitments.

Quick and timely delivery is key to complete the projects on time for all the customers, consultants and contractors.

We deliver on time whether it is a transformer for an industry, or for solar and wind farms or if it is an export.

Our promise is simple: we deliver reliability, not just transformers.

In the world of power distribution, a transformer isn’t just a component, it’s a commitment. A commitment to uptime, safety, and long-term performance in the face of fluctuating loads, harsh environments, and evolving grid demands.

What makes our 3Si Eco Power transformers truly robust?

Thermal resilience: Engineered for overloads and ambient extremes
Mechanical integrity: Withstands short-circuit forces and transport stresses
Dielectric strength: Reliable insulation systems for long service life
Material precision: High-grade copper windings, optimized core geometry, and fabricated tanks to the designed scale drawings
Site-specific adaptability: Tailored cooling, tanks, and mounting solutions for real site conditions

Robust design is about understanding customer needs, smart engineering, deep field insight, and collaboration across standards, design, sourcing, manufacturing, and application teams.

We keep planning for transformers that don’t just meet specs but exceed expectations of our customers. And we deliver them.

Government of India formally outlined its solar plans as part of India’s broader renewable energy roadmap during the COP26 summit in Glasgow, November 2021. The target is 300GW. That’s when India pledged to reach 500 GW of non-fossil fuel energy capacity by 2030, with solar expected to contribute the lion’s share, a whopping 60% of that total.

India’s Solar Capacity Update:
According to the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy of India, the official figure as of 31 August 2025 for cumulative installed solar power capacity in India is 123.13 GW

Segment and Capacity (GW)
Ground-mounted solar - 93.9
Grid-connected rooftop solar - 20.85
Hybrid projects (solar part) - 3.26
Off-grid solar - 5.12
Total Solar Capacity - 123.13

India’s overall non-fossil fuel capacity now stands at 251.4 GW, halfway to the 2030 target of 500 GW. And the growth is in line with the announced target.

If India’s solar capacity is a rising sun, transformer infrastructure becomes a focal point it. Without precision engineering, we risk grid instability, energy loss, and underutilized generation.
