BPCL Renewable Energy Business Unit has been conferred with the Gold Award in the “Renewable Energy Integration Category” at the Greentech Energy Management Excellence Summit & Awards 2026 held at Radisson Blu, New Delhi. The award was received by Shri Dibyendu Dwijesh Sarkar, Chief General Manager (Renewable Energy), and Shri Harshal Talele, Team Member (Renewable Energy), on behalf of BPCL.

The recognition reflects BPCL’s strategic focus on accelerating renewable energy adoption and building a future-ready energy ecosystem aligned with India’s sustainability aspirations. BPCL’s renewable energy initiatives continue to support the company’s vision of achieving Net Zero emissions (Scope 1 & Scope 2) by 2040, while progressing towards the development of a 10 GW renewable energy portfolio by 2035.

Spread across 108 acres, the project aims to strengthen sporting infrastructure in the region with a world-class 30,000-seat cricket stadium and supporting facilities.

Implemented jointly by BPCL, Government of Uttar Pradesh and UP Sports College, the initiative reflects a shared commitment towards creating impactful community infrastructure and nurturing India’s sporting future.

Bharat Petroleum continues to strengthen India’s clean energy infrastructure with the inauguration of key City Gas Distribution (CGD) projects under its UP-3 Gas Territory in Uttar Pradesh.

Shri Subhankar Sen, Director (Marketing) with additional charge of Director (HR), inaugurated the Gas Territory Office and Decompression Unit (DCU) at Sitapur, along with the virtual inauguration of the City Gate Station-cum-HCV Filling Facility at Shahjahanpur, DRS Maholi and DRS Lakhimpur City, in the presence of Shri Rahul Tandon, Business Head (Gas), and Shri Rouf M. Khan, ED Projects, Marketing & Strategy (Gas), along with senior officials from BPCL’s Gas Business, Regional and Territory teams.

The newly inaugurated facilities will help accelerate PNG access, strengthen clean mobility infrastructure, and support reliable gas supply for nearly 75,000 domestic customers across the region. The City Gate Station-cum-HCV Filling Facility at Shahjahanpur, with a compression capacity of 35,000 kg per day, will further strengthen gas availability for consumers and Heavy Commercial Vehicles.

These milestones reaffirm BPCL’s commitment towards expanding access to clean energy, strengthening India’s CGD infrastructure, and delivering reliable and customer-centric energy solutions across the nation.

BPCL Kochi Refinery’s Replacement & Extension of Jetty Pipelines (REJP) project has been conferred with the CIDC Vishwakarma Award 2026 in the category ‘Best Construction Projects’ at the 17th CIDC Vishwakarma Awards held in New Delhi.

The project was recognized for excellence in project management, innovation, stakeholder engagement, sustainability considerations, and ex*****on excellence. Successfully executed across eco-sensitive marine zones and densely populated urban areas, the REJP project stands as a benchmark for responsible and future-ready infrastructure development.
