Historical moment for BIO 360 LIFE SCIENCES PARK!

The Foundation Stone for the CSIR-NIIST Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship Hub was unveiled by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi in the esteemed presence of Shri.Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Hon’ble Governor of Kerala, and Shri.Pinarayi Vijayan, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala.

BIO 360 LIFE SCIENCES PARK at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala is set to emerge as a major life sciences cluster in India and the project is being developed on a 10-acre land allotted free of cost at BIO 360 LIFE SCIENCES PARK, under Department of Industries,Govt of Kerala , underscoring Kerala’s long-term vision to build a globally competitive and comprehensive life sciences ecosystem. The project discussion was initiated on August 2024 in presence of the Minister for Industries and Coir, Shri P Rajeev, and Additional Chief Secretary (Industries), Shri A. P. M. Mohammed Hanish IAS, BIO 360 LIFE SCIENCES PARK and CSIR-NIIST officials.

Once operational, the project is expected to significantly accelerate industry and startups growth, attracting major private players and life sciences industries and position Kerala as a major life sciences industries hub.

Strengthening Academic–Industry Collaboration at BIO 360 LIFE SCIENCES PARK and fostering innovations

BIO 360 LIFE SCIENCES PARK had the privilege of hosting Professor J N Moorthy , Director, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram and team official visit to the Park.

During the visit, Dr. Praveen KS , CEO, BIO 360 LIFE SCIENCES PARK, held a productive discussion with the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram exploring opportunities for collaborations and synergies in research, innovation, and capacity building.

A comprehensive site visit of BIO 360 LIFE SCIENCES PARK Phase I and Phase II was also conducted, showcasing our upcoming facilities, including the Medical Devices Park, Central Laboratory Animal Facility (CLAF), Industrial Area, and the R&D Zone.

As a prelude to this engagement, Dr. Praveen KS , CEO , BIO 360 LIFE SCIENCES PARK had also visited Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram campus and held fruitful discussion.

BIO 360 LIFE SCIENCES PARK, represented by Dr Praveen KS K S (CEO), Ms. Sumi S Kumar (Assistant Manager – Business Development) and Ms. Aparna P (Business Development Executive) participated in the Prelaunch National Research Meet “Synergising the Frontiers – Dialogues on Shaping a Global Centre for Evidence-Based Ayurveda”, organised by the Department of AYUSH, Government of Kerala, in connection with the establishment of IRIA – International Research Institute of Ayurveda on 29.12.2025 at Kerala Arts & Crafts Village , Kovalam, Thiruvananthapuram.

The event was inaugurated by Smt. Veena George, Hon’ble Minister for Health, Women and Child Development, Govt of Kerala and witnessed the esteemed presence of Smt. K. K. Shailaja, Hon’ble Member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly and Former Health Minister.

The event served as an excellent platform for meaningful interactions and fruitful discussions with eminent experts and industry stakeholders including Padma Shri. M. BIO 360 LIFE SCIENCES PARK is pleased to host the PG students (M.Sc Microbiology) and faculty from the Department of Microbiology, The Oxford College of Science, Bangalore, as part of their academic industrial/institutional visit.

The visit offered students valuable exposure through an industrial visit to the Institute of Advanced Virology, followed by a guided park tour, providing insights into real-world applications of microbiology, translational research, and innovation ecosystems.

Confederation of Indian Industry Trivandrum Chapter Visit to Kerala Lifesciences Industries Parks (KLIP) 🌟

We were delighted to host the Confederation of Indian Industry Trivandrum Chapter delegation at the Kerala Lifesciences Industries Parks (KLIP) on 26 November 2025. Confederation of Indian Industry, as a premier industry association, continues to play a pivotal role in creating and sustaining an environment conducive to industrial growth and entrepreneurship in India. The visit underscored the vibrant innovation ecosystem at KLIP, fostering collaboration and opening new opportunities in biotechnology, healthcare, nutraceuticals, and allied sectors.
