CLUB ACTIVITIES
• Four of our members from 3rd year automobile participated in the SKIP (student knowledge important program) held at SRI KRISHNA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY Coimbatore. On 23rd and 24th January 2015. Based on the topic Steering systems & vehicle Handling. Classes taken by Mr.SRadhakrishnan (Vice president (R&D) from Rane TRW Steering systems). The SKIP provide a good gro
unding in fundamentals of steering systems & vehicle handling, In addition to various concepts and technology available as well as the future trends in these area.
• Two students participated in an internship program held at Pune. It was a five day program concentrated on Engine and its various parts, including works shops for better learning under the surveillance of technical staffs from various automobile manufacturers like Hyundai, Tata& Mahindra
• The orientation class by Mr.Rouf Ali Khan (SAE southern section coordinator) was inspirational for the club members. Held on 10/02/2015 he enlightened the students about SAE and its benefits
• STUDENTS LICENSE PROGRAM (SLiP) is progressing. This will be very helpful for the students to take license at minimum cost.
