The report published by Metal Bulletin that the FOB price of Iranian export Steel Slab traded at 561$ per ton with no change. The FOB price of Iranian export Steel Billet trade was 545 to 550$, which shows a 0.4% decrease compared to the June 18th.

The report published by Metal Bulletin that the FOB price of Iranian export Steel Slab decreased by 1.6% last week and traded at 561$ per ton. The FOB price of Iranian export Steel Billet trade was 545-555$, which shows a 1.3% decrease compared to the June 11th prices.

Global steel markets have been falling sharply since late April this year, and Iran's export steel prices are now lower than at the start of the Ukraine war. The reports of CIS Export showed slabs fell by 0.9 percent to $ 560, which is still lower than the price of Iranian export slabs.

The FOB price of Iranian export Steel Billet trade was 545-570$, which shows a 0.4% increase compared to the last week.

The decline in Chinese demand and the global economic downturn has been another reason for falling prices in the global steel market.
Also, the report shows that CIS Export slabs fell by 8.9 percent to $ 560 to $ 570 per ton, which is lower than the price of Iranian export slabs.

There is a 37% increase in Iranian export for March and May 2022 compared to the same period last year.

According to the statistics of Iran's customs, by the end of May 2022, the value of Iran's foreign trade reached 16 billion and 631 million dollars, the share of non-oil exports increased by 37% to 8 billion and 516 million dollars, and the foreign trade balance was 401 million dollars.

The largest export destination was China with 32 percent share of the Iranian export market, the United Arab Emirates with 17.63 percent, Iraq with 15.41%, Turkey with 9%, and India with 3.41% of the total value the largest market destination for the export.

According to published statistics from the Iran Steel Association, Iran's total production of steel products grew by 5% compared to the same period in 2021.
Semi-finished steel production was 2 million 891 thousand tons, which shows a growth of 3%.
Slab production has increased by 8% and was 1 million and 223 thousand tons.
Rebar production with an increase of 2% was 776 thousand tons.
Eventually, according to the reports, the producers of sponge iron(DRI) in April 2022 produced 3 million and 242 thousand tons of this product, which shows a growth of 3% compared to the same month last year.
