Frábært tækifæri fyrir þau ykkar sem hafa áhuga á Hnattrænni heilsu!
Dear colleagues at the Nordic Network on Global Health,
We are pleased to share an opportunity that may be of interest to students and networks engaged in global health, sustainability, innovation, and social impact.
From 20–24 August 2026, the University of Copenhagen will host the SDG Innovation Challenge 2026 at UCPH Lighthouse: a five-day interdisciplinary innovation programme where students collaborate in teams to develop solutions to real-world sustainability challenges connected to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
This year’s challenge focuses on Kibera (Kenya), Africa’s largest informal settlement, in collaboration with the Danish-Kenyan NGO 100% for the Children. Participants will work on a practice-oriented case within health and sustainability, identified by 100% for the Children and their local Kenyan partners.
The programme is open to bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD students from all disciplines, universities, and countries, and participation is free of charge. Two teams will also have the opportunity to pitch their solutions at the European Regional Final of the Sustainability Olympiad, with the possibility of advancing to the global final in Geneva.
We would be very grateful if you would share this opportunity within your networks, student communities, mailing lists, or social media channels.
