What's new in this release?

Basic Report
Generate quick reports based on the last 5, 10, or 20 strokes. The new Basic Report provides a simple and intuitive overview of the most important putting parameters, including Score, Face Change, Track, Impact Location, Arc, and Tempo.

New Score Page
A dedicated performance page that calculates an overall score based on the average of Rotation, Trajectory, and Dynamics, allowing players and coaches to evaluate stroke quality immediately.

Customizable Play Page
Parameters are now fully customizable, with up to 6 visible metrics selectable at the same time for a more focused and personalized analysis experience

Improved Impact Location Visualization
Impact Location is now clearer and easier to read inside both Explore and Sweetspot Rotation, providing immediate visual feedback on strike consistency and face contact quality

Track to Impact
By switching from Track to Start to Track to Impact, users can now analyze the putter path direction exactly at impact, gaining a deeper understanding of stroke behavior during the strike phase

Video Mode
Introducing the new Video feature, one of the most important upgrades of this release. This functionality will be explored in detail in a dedicated session

One of the most important concept is the zero acceleration at
impact.

This means the putter is not accelerating or decelerating, but
moving through the ball in a stable and controlled way.

Target hands speed describes how fast the hands are moving
towards the target through impact.

Target hands acceleration, describe the energy flow during the
stroke.

It’s important not to add any additional force close to the impact.

Sweet spot speed tells us how fast the center of the putter face is
moving at impact, while sweet spot acceleration shows us if that
motion is stable or changing at the moment of contact.

All these parameters together help us understanding the quality of
the stroke.

Using Capto, we can visualize everything clearly and help players
building a more stable and repeatable putting motion.

Today at Capto we speak about 3D Motion.
Entering the play page, in the Lab section, among the selectable parameters you'll find 3D Motion.
Here we introduce for the first time the concepts of putt kernel and shaft kernel, key to define the 3D analysis of the putt.
The idea comes from the need to provide a simple visual explanation of the graphs generated through extensive testing and data collection during Capto's development.
The shaft kernel, togheter with the putt kernel, defines the player's behavior in the mechanics of the putt.
For each point of the trajectory, is it possible to calculate an instantaneous center of rotation whose estimate depends on the instantaneous velocity.
From the arrow menu, you can select different parameters, as well as the stroke velocity and the view mode.
