Aviano Fire Department

11/10/2026

Aviano Fire Department was proud to participate in Aviano Corre in Rosa, the annual walk dedicated to raising awareness and supporting the fight against cancer.

This meaningful effort was led by our very own Fabrizio La Marca, whose dedication and commitment to this cause continue to make a difference year after year. Through the sale of special pink T-shirts featuring the Aviano Fire Department logo, Fabrizio raises funds that go directly toward supporting the oncology clinic, helping fund cancer research and the development of new technologies.

We are proud to stand alongside our community in support of this important mission. Every step taken, every shirt sold, and every donation brings us closer to a future with better treatments, stronger hope, and continued progress in the fight against cancer.

It was an honor to host the 25th Anniversary 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at Fire Station 1.

We’re grateful for team Aviano and the leadership team who joined us to remember, honor, and pay tribute to the lives lost and the heroes who answered the call 25 years ago. A special thank you to our keynote speaker, CMSgt Tonge, for sharing his words and leadership with us.

Thank you to everyone who came out in support of this important remembrance. 🇺🇸

Earlier this year, Aviano Fire & Emergency Services was named the 2025 Department of the Air Force Best Medium Fire Department. This week, our senior leadership team had the honor of formally accepting the award from the Air Force Fire Chief and Career Field Manager during the Annual Senior Fire Officer Summit in Reno, Nevada.

This recognition belongs to every member of our department. Thank you to our incredible team for your professionalism, dedication, and commitment to excellence every day. We couldn't be more proud.

Aviano Fire Department would like to congratulate SSgt Brendan Casserly, (S)Sgt Owen Ray, and SrA Vincent Tran on their successful completion of Airman Leadership School!

This class was especially memorable, as our very own CMSgt Rollins had the privilege of serving as the Class 26E Senior Enlisted Advisor, mentoring the next generation of Air Force leaders.

Congratulations on this outstanding achievement! We are proud of each of you and look forward to seeing your continued success.
