AQuafix
Contrary to other "fully saturated steam” technologies, AQuafix© solves the problem of intermediate vacuum water boiling by extracting the water from the airless autoclave, saving energy
and allowing for a lower content of air in the yarn: this process produces perfectly uniform distribution of the humidity inside each bobbin.
Important advantages:
● No splashes of water are deposited on the material.
● No problems with mildew or differential dyeing in spot-wetted areas.
● The water transferred to the pressurized side-tank maintains its temperature.
● Still hot, this water is later re-introduced in the machine, thus:

A high initial vacuum and a strict control of the saturation level are

Thanks to ACIMIT Green Label, Italian textile machinery builders can thus declare the energy and environmental performance specifications of each machine produced.
ACIMIT Green Label is clearly visible directly on the machine and/or also accompanies its technical documentation.
ACIMIT Green Label brings together a set of indicators defining a machine's energy and environmental performance with regards to its specific production cycle.
Among these indicators, the Carbon Footprint is the parameter which in particular aims to determine the ecological efficiency of the machinery bearing the Green Label.

Pozzi Leopoldo has designed and built a self-cleaning heat exchange unit, which has become extremely successful throughout the world over the last decades.
MADE ENTIRELY IN STAINLESS STEEL, the heat exchanger has a central element rotated continuously by a small motor.
This element comprises of a series of hollow discs which are fitted with baffle plates connected to a hollow axle through which clean water flows.
The exchanging element rotates inside a trough, again equipped with baffles, through which the effluent flows in the opposite direction to the clean water.
This new design brings very definite advantages when this exchanger is used with polluted effluents.
Its rotation creates turbulence in both the primary and secondary flows, which enhances heat transfer.
Rotation also prevents the build up of deposits from the dirty effluent.
Turbulence due to the rotation creates a centrifugal separation effect which keeps the contaminants away from the exchanger surfaces.
Thus, maintenance for cleaning is practically non-existent.

Responding to the latest needs for special machinery to treat technical textile fibres, POZZI LEOPOLDO has designed and manufactured a new washing apparatus for medical fibres made of polymers of jaluronic acid to be treated with solvents such as acetone, methyl or ethyl alcohol.
In order to comply with the strictest ATEX regulations and pharmaceutical/medical requirements, this machine is equipped with a sophisticated automatic control system for both local and remote monitoring. Every component being ATEX certified, the apparatus allows for treatment with variable flow and corresponding adequate heating/cooling with autonomous regulation.
This apparatus is an example of special machinery meant for treatment of technical textiles with either water or solvent, with or without ATEX or medical certifications.
