Siglufjordur (often called Siglo), is a historic fishing town who’s fame and fortune has always been linked to the fishing industry. A tiny shark fishing village in 1900, Siglufjordur soon became one of the largest towns in Iceland and the undisputed capital of herring fishing in the Atlantic.

Ever since then this northernmost town of Iceland has been considered one of the country’s most historic places and at Siglo Hotel guests have the opportunity to experience Siglufjordur as it is today while getting to know its historic past through pictures and museums. At Sligo Hotel guests enjoy a restaurant, lounge bar, business center with conference room, wellness center with sauna and hot tub and much more. The system is realized with KNX technology and all the common areas are monitored and controlled through Ilevia which allows it to easily manage the structure with extreme speed.

We have yet to find a case where Ilevia cannot be used to automate and improve our lifestyle - the Hlidarfjall ski resort on the Arctic Circle is proof of this.

On the mountains on the western side of the Eyjafjördur fjord, just a handful of kilometers from Akureyri (the second most populous in the country), winter sports lovers enjoy one of the most beautiful and well-equipped ski facilities on the whole island. This is the Hlidarfjall Ski Resort, a site that boasts several ski slopes and cross country trails, a snowpark and a ski lift supported by adequate refreshment facilities upstream and downstream. The Hlidarfjall system is supported by a complex lighting system created by choice of the electrical installer with KNX technology and intelligently controlled with Ilevia supervision.

Lighting management is totally under your control with Ilevia.

Lighting can be managed either manually using the Ilevia app or through your voice commands thanks to the integration with Alexa and Google voice assistants.

You can adjust each single parameter (On/Off, Brightness, Color) and configure dedicated scenes to speed up the interaction with your system and make your special moments even more enjoyable. You can also schedule weekly events in order to automate the system behavior depending on your personal habits.

Is there anything missing here?
