The first SSMS mission is complete!

With the Vega VV16 launch, about 53 Satellites were delivered into orbit making this the first European mission to achieve that.

This launch marks a new era for the access to space!

We are so happy for this great result! 🚀

FIRST EUROPEAN RIDESHARE MISSION🚀

The SSMS HEX European integration Campaign has been successfully completed! ✅

This is a beautiful moment of international cooperation where SAB became the meeting point for more than 10 customers from all over the globe!

We were very happy to have you all at our facility in Brno, and look forward to welcoming you again! Thank you for your amazing job and hard work!

Next stop is Kourou, where the integrations will keep going and the SSMS dispenser will come together in one amazing piece with VEGA to become the bus to space carrying about 42 satellites into orbit! 🛰

As Solar Orbiter was launched this week, at SAB Aerospace we felt very grateful to have had the pleasure to participate in this amazing project -in collaboration with Italy and Italy- with the thermo-mechanical design, manufacturing and testing for its mirrors sub-assemblies M0, M1 and M2.

The Small Spacecraft Mission Service (SSMS) is the rideshare opportunity for worldwide customers, developed with ESA (European Space Agency) funds and based on a modular dispenser designed for both the Avio’s Vega launchers.
