Focus on the telescopic masts of our 40 kN bull-wheels catenary wiring systems, model CT40.2.

With a controlled tilting range from ± 400 mm to ± 2000 mm, these masts are equipped with cable-driving rollers to ensure smooth sliding of contact wires during installation. An integrated extension helps the operator easily reach the desired height during setup.

All movements are controlled with sensors that enhance safety during transport and operations and additional protection is ensured by the base frame and the galvanized steel structure of the mast, that can be supplied as a stand-alone solution or fully integrated into your system, with the support of our Area Managers.

From compact to large-scale solutions: our railway stringing/recovering range covers every kind of project! ⚡

Meet our recovering tail-stock reel stand catenary wiring system, model RT40.2, designed to recover and install two catenary or contact wires, either simultaneously or independently thanks to its automatic recovering/tensioning unit.

Powered by its 42 kW water cooled diesel engine, our RT40.2 can handle a max pull of 40 kN distributing 20 kN on each reel stand allowing a constant recovering speed of 5 km/h for wires on the ground, and 3 km/h for wires from the poles.

Each reel stand can be customized for different jobsite needs: it can be fitted with a cylindrical steel reel with openable sides and retractable arms for easy unloading, or a conical steel reel with openable sides, perfect for recovering different wires.

To complete the setup, the client can also choose to equip the system with a control panel, operable via radio remote (optional 038) or cable remote (optional 37.2.20.RT), ensuring safe and efficient control remotely.

Did you know that OMAC also provides complementary equipment to support and simplify railway line stringing projects?

Our PANT.195.E measuring pantograph helps operators measure interaction forces and vertical movement while continuously monitoring the height and stagger of the catenary wire.

Built with a main aluminum structure, our pantograph is supplied with mounting brackets and sensors designed to be fixed to the mast crossbar for zig-zag wire control.

It also features a 690 × 160 mm base plate with mounting holes for installation on the customer’s vehicle platform, which powers and operates the pantograph via an electro-hydraulic system.

The pantograph can operate in synchronization with other catenary measurement systems.
