Alfasigma is proud to have supported 2024, the charity rally organized by the humanitarian association Associazione umanitaria Tavolo 8 ODV to raise awareness and funds for cooperation projects benefiting the most vulnerable groups in West Africa.

Marina Golinelli, Deputy Chairman of Alfasigma, took part in the rally as a member of the Rusty Penguins team. This 6,023 km journey saw participants raise donations and helped spread the word about the projects and initiatives in West Africa by sharing updates on social media.

At the end of this journey, the vehicles were donated to local communities in Africa to support Tavolo8’s humanitarian projects. Our car, "Sally," will continue to make important journeys at the Catholic mission of Suzana in Guinea-Bissau, enabling them to provide essential medical care to women and families in remote local communities.

This initiative reflects our belief that even a small gesture can make a lasting impact by creating a strong, supportive, and collaborative community.

🚙🌍 We’re proud to announce our support to Rust2Dakar 2024, the charity rally aimed at helping the most fragile communities in West Africa! A proper on the road adventure that crosses Morocco, Mauritania, Senegal and Guinea Bissau. The vehicles used by participants in the Rust2Dakar will be donated in Africa to support Tavolo 8's local projects, either being used in cooperation initiatives or to fund them.

With enthusiasm and determination, Marina Golinelli, Deputy Chairman of Alfasigma, will join the race as member of the Rusty Penguins team, that will set off on December 26th on board of the car “Sally”. A journey in which learning to dare and working effectively as a team will be two fundamental elements to face the challenges of the path and reach the finish line on January 10.

Rust2Dakar is organized by the humanitarian association Associazione umanitaria Tavolo 8 ODV with the goal of raising awareness and funds for cooperation projects aiding the most vulnerable groups in West Africa.
