🚀 Openings 2025 – Gillet Garden Centre, Landau (DE) 🚀

The newly built Gillet garden centre in Landau sets a bold example for sustainable, aesthetically pleasing and functional retail design. Built during ongoing operations, this family-led project combines architectural character with smart environmental solutions. 🌍

Rabensteiner turned vision into reality from concept to completion.

Project Highlights
✨ 4,000 m² area with 8.5 wide-span greenhouse bays
✨An eye-catching façade featuring vertical metal elements, greenery and lighting accents
✨ Sustainable rainwater management using the Rabensteiner Thermo gutter system
✨ Designed to enhance the customer experience and reflect a strong commitment to nature

🚀 Openings 2025 – Garden Paradise, Tramin (IT) 🚀

Located along the picturesque Weinstraße in South Tyrol, Garden Paradise is a unique nursery opening in spring 2025. It blends plant expertise, bold design and technical precision to create a botanical experience. 🌺
From concept to completion, Rabensteiner brought this vision to life.

Project Highlights
🌿 2,000 m² total area with three climate zones for ideal growing conditions
🌿 A distinctive corten steel façade that connects the indoor and outdoor areas
🌿 A viewing window into the floristry studio showcasing creativity
🌿 A custom foundation slab tailored to complex geological conditions

Our scope included concept development, planning, ex*****on and complete construction management 🔧

We are proud to have created a space where modern aesthetics and natural harmony coexist.🌍🌱

👀 How do you know when glasshouse builders get together?
They admire the façades before anything else! 🤓✨

The Rabensteiner company trip takes place every two years, and this time, we explored the stunning city of Salzburg. 🗺️

Our teams from Esslingen and Brixen met at the beautiful Lake Chiemsee, where the warm reunions were followed by a visit to Hangar 7 which is located in Salzburg. While most visitors marvelled at the planes and racing cars, we couldn’t take our eyes off the glass construction 😍🔍

The evening ended with great food and even better company 🍽️🍷

The next day we enjoyed a fun and insightful walking tour through Salzburg’s historic streets, before heading back home to Germany and Italy, feeling recharged and full of memories 💬🚌

The verdict? These get-togethers are always an absolute blast, and this one was no exception 💚🎉.

🚀 Openings 2025 – Blumenbörse Bern, now in Kerzers (CH) 🚀

At the beginning of 2025, the Berner Blumenbörsen cooperative relocated its headquarters from Bern to Kerzers. The new site was built using eco-friendly materials and cutting-edge technology. 🌺🏗️

Project Highlights
🌼 2-bay sales greenhouse with warm and cold zones: 2,500 m² cold greenhouse for seasonal plants & 750 m² warm greenhouse for heat-loving varieties
🌼 422 m² convertible outdoor nursery roof that can be opened or closed depending on the weather
🌼 Additional climate zones for flexible use and comfort
Our services included ex*****on planning and full construction management 🔧

This forward-thinking project is the perfect example of how sustainable garden centres can provide optimal conditions for plants and people alike. 🌍💚

🚀 Openings 2025 – Dehner Garden Centre, Magdeburg 🚀

A brand new green space opened its doors in the heart of Saxony-Anhalt in April 2025!
We are proud to share the successful opening of the new Dehner garden centre in Magdeburg, located right by the Florapark shopping centre.
From demolition to turnkey delivery, our team handled the entire process – and the result is a modern retail space ready to bloom 🌸💪

Project Highlights
✨ 1,600 m² warm zone - 1,200 m² cold zone
✨ 370 m² covered outdoor area - 760 m² outdoor garden area
✨ Eye-catching entrance in signature Dehner CI
✨ Rainwater collected via Rabensteiner’s Thermo gutter and reused for irrigation through ebb and flow benches, basins and taps 💧♻️

The project was completed in just 12 months – with 9 months dedicated to the construction of the garden centre itself.

We thank our partner Dehner for their continued trust and are excited to shape the future of garden retail together 🌍💚

Since March 2025, plant lovers in Merano have been able to enjoy a renewed shopping experience surrounded by an even greater variety of flowers, plants and charm.
Following a successful modernisation, Nursery Wielander is shining brighter than ever, operating more efficiently and sustainably, and is ready for the future. 🌞🌱

We are proud to have contributed to this flagship project with:
