is an Italian company which, for almost 40 years, has been manufacturing extruders, extrusion lines and dies for profiles and pipes, all in thermo-plastic materials. The company markets its products in Italy and worldwide through its network of agents. Friul Filiere specializes in high-tech turn-key projects, providing clients with tailor-made solutions. For each and every project, the company car
ries out a feasibility study, design work and engineering development, research into materials, production of machines and dies. All stages, including final tests and trials are carried out at the Friul Filiere plants located in Buja (Udine), Italy. Some of the most recent projects carried out by the company include:
• complete plants to manufacture HDPE pipes/conduits for the telecom industry (optical fibres), at the highest speed ever achieved;
• complete plants to manufacture reinforced and complex gasket profiles (five different materials) for the automotive sector; plants are managed by a single supervisor for high levels of quality control;
• ultra-high speed plants for PE/PP small tubes with a diameter of up to 6mm;
• plants manufacturing FFC™ (Foam Fiber Composite) for decking, floors, windows, counterframes for windows, wall panels, etc.; FFC is a composite material patented by Friul Filiere, consisting of a mixture of thermoplastic material with vegetable fibres, made lighter thanks to the use of closed cell foam;
• complete plants for doors in closed cell foam PVC and PVC windows. Friul Filiere has recently developed and patented HOME™, a modular housing solution based on the company’s cutting-edge and sustainable technology, a flexible and suitable solution for a number of different uses. The house is particularly easy, quick, and economical to build and install, and in addition it provides a healthy environment, is self-extinguishing, maintenance-free and long lasting.
