HVOF vs APS: what technology protects your components best?

🔬⚡In surface engineering, there is no one-size-fits-all solution.
The choice of the ideal thermal spray process depends primarily on the challenges and mechanics that the critical component will face in the field.
Two of the most advanced and widely used technologies are HVOF (High Velocity Oxygen Fuel) and Plasma Spray (APS).

Although both processes create high-performance coatings, their physical principles and fields of application are radically different:
