From a vision to reality!
In Cancun (state of Quintana Roo) for the Nichuptè Bridge, the revolutionary “Top-down launching girder” has been successfully load tested and it has started its construction activities!
First time in the history of the construction industry, the patented equipment allows to apply both the technologies of driven and drilled piles; therefore the horizon of the application of this system widens infinitely: from bridges in environmental protected areas, to jetties effected by tidal high water depth variation, to regions hit by wind, waves and currents.

The Nichuptè Bridge has a total length of 8 kilometers and Deal, worldwide leader in design and fabrication of innovative solutions for bridge construction, is involved in the completion of the most critical part of the route which crosses an environmental mangroves reserve.

DEAL has been awarded for the supply of no.1 Span by Span Launching Girder for the er****on of the « Connexion de la Ligne B » (CLB) project which represents an extension of Line B of the Toulouse underground, from the Ramonville station to the future 3rd metro line at the INP station.
With a length of more than 2.65km, both single-track and double track, it consists of an underground section of about 450m on the Ramonville side, then a 2.2 km viaduct on the rest of the route which is the subject of DEAL scope of work.
The equipment has to erect spans up to 40 m length and a maximum weight of 430 Ton, and it will be able to perform er****on and self-launching activities even in the tightest 150 m plan curvature radius section, by using special support configuration.
One of the main challenges of our engineering department will be the Launching Girder crossing of the already erected composite steel/concrete bridge (OAP), located in the middle of the track. The equipment needs to self-launch from one side to the other of the composite bridge while staying within its 4 meters handrails columns transversal distance. No piece of equipment may protrude beyond this 4 meters limits.
The different solutions proposed by Deal to solve this challenge and the other technical specifications of the project, combined with the proven reliability of the Deal equipment regarding the precast segmental span-by-span er****on method, were compliant with the project milestones and time constraints, making it possible to be part of the upcoming development of this important part of the Metro Toulouse Line B project.

Installation of precast concrete segments to build ’s Woolloongabba station mezzanine is underway.

The 70-tonne, state-of-the-art segment loader is installing the double match cast segments. Each segment is made up of three units, preassembled together at the Woolloongabba site using stressing tables.

Deal is providing with two segment loaders - the second segment loader will be transported to the Roma Street station to build the mezzanine.

Deal is also providing four segment transporters, moulds for segment prefabrication, and engineering and fabrication of temporary structures.

Rizzani de Eccher will team up with Infratech Pvt Limited in one of India's biggest urban mobility infrastructure projects ever - the Versova Bandra Sea Link, a 17.7 km-long 8-lane motorway over-the-sea viaduct rising between 900 meter and 1800 meter off Mumbai City's waterfront.

Deal, the Rizzani de Eccher's engineering company specialized in technologies for the construction of transport infrastructures, has signed a big contract with India's Infratech Pvt Limited, to provide all the specialty machines for manufacturing and installation of pre-fabrication segments.

Plus, Rizzani de Eccher's Tensa India will supply the stays for what is designed to be Versova Bandra Sea Link's iconic 300-meter-long cable-stayed bridge.
