This week our Systems & Project Engineer Andrea Spini (Andrea Spini) takes the stage at Floating Offshore Wind 2026 to show how Rebel Dynamics’ Human-in-the-Loop technologies are validating the next generation of floating wind turbines.

In his session, “HIL Solutions Systems for Next-Gen Floater Design and Wind Tunnel Testing,” Andrea will walk through three of our platforms:

- Hexawaves large-scale turbine model validation via HIL wave simulation in wind tunnels
- Swarm Waves multi-turbine interaction analysis for floating wind farms
- Hellowind 3-DOF motion systems built on dual synchronised actuator chains.

As floating wind scales from demonstrators towards GW-scale deployment, accurate HIL and physical testing become essential to de-risk design and accelerate validation. That’s exactly where our work on parallel kinematic platforms makes the difference.

On Monday, June 15th, we opened the doors of Rebel Dynamics for the Italian stage of “MITICA in TOUR”! 🚀

Our headquarters in Cesana Brianza turned into a real “open lab” for the Interreg Italy-Switzerland MITICA project. It was an incredible journey into applied innovation, where we shared our core technologies firsthand.
