We are currently manufacturing custom large-scale unitized curtain wall units for a major educational building development in Texas. In particular, this unit measures approx.14.2 ft x 8.2 ft (4.34 m x 2.50 m) and features curved glass panels with a 38.78° radius, combining advanced engineering with high-performance façade design.

Our Project Management and Quality Control teams are actively involved throughout the process, ensuring precise oversight of every component and delivering excellence at every stage of production, from engineering and fabrication to final assembly.

The project scope includes custom unitized curtain wall system, based on the standard INTERCOM CWT 3.5 system, tailored into different construction designs and preassembled in our manufacturing facility, for a total of approximately 2,300 units.

He’s making sure the first Projetc crate is perfect and ready for shipment, with every detail carefully checked and aligned before moving forward.🎯

Columbia University’s Vagelos Innovation Laboratories, New York | On-site update

Proud to see the façade installation nearing completion at Columbia University’s Vagelos Innovation Laboratories (CUIMC Berrie Expansion) in Washington Heights, the city’s first all-electric academic research laboratory. 🍃

Our scope includes curved and standard unitized curtain wall systems, as well as punch windows and storefront. The curved façade, enhanced by a vertical silk-screened ceramic frit line pattern designed by KPF, defines the building’s identity while improving solar control and overall performance.

A clear example of high-performance, design-driven façade engineering for next-generation research environments.

📸 Detix Project, Italy | On-site update

Work is progressing steadily, with key phases now completed. The WICONA window systems, along with claddings and WAREMA motorized shades, are fully installed.

The building now showcases Intercom Facades’ unitized curtain wall technology, typically used for high-rise buildings, bringing its performance advantages to this project. Thanks to the pre-construction of units in our factory, elements are assembled off-site and installed rapidly on site, allowing the structure to be enclosed quickly and internal works to begin immediately.

Recently completed:
✔️ walkway floor (31,000 x 1,500 mm / approx. 1,220 x 59 in) in ALFALUX porcelain stoneware
✔️ glass balustrade
✔️ WAREMA louvered Venetian blinds on the main curtain wall elevation (3,000 x 4,000 mm / approx. 118.1 x 157.5 in)
✔️ final painted metal cladding elements
✔️ integrated LED lighting system within the curtain wall

💡 The project is now approaching its final stages, in collaboration with Unox.
