In Positano, the refurbishment of selected areas of Ohimà restaurant required a precise solution: a system capable of combining aesthetic performance, durability and compliance with local regulations.

Landscape constraints and the need to minimise application residues, in a context where the local municipal waste facility is small and lacks a chemical disposal area, led to the selection of a water-based, VOC-free application system with minimal environmental impact.

For this project, a application system was selected, including:

👉🏻 WINFIX FISSATIVO, a two-component epoxy resin in water dispersion, used to consolidate the substrate.
👉🏻 ONE® FLOORING, a single-component liquid waterproofing coating, UV-resistant and stable under thermal shock, ensuring long-lasting protection.
👉🏻 WINPAINT, a two-component coloured polyurethane resin, water-based, contributing to both protection and surface finishing.

An intervention carried out in full respect of the context, with minimal waste and full compliance with local requirements.

How do you carry out 1,400 m² of retail flooring refurbishment within tight deadlines, with no business interruption and no odour emissions?How is it possible?

📍 Parma Retail Shopping Centre: for a new seamless, high-traffic floor in a major fashion & accessories store, the choice fell on solutions for their speed and performance.

👉🏻 The result was achieved thanks to the following application system:

• WINFIX FISSATIVO -Two-component epoxy primer in water dispersion, perfect for stabilizing chalky surfaces and creating a dustproof interior finish;
• WINLIVEL RAPID - Self-levelling premixed compound with ultra-rapid setting time (5 hours at +20°C), suitable for internal and external use;

How long can a floor really last when it is exposed to constant traffic, moisture and water ingress?

In high-traffic areas, the issues are always the same:
resins peeling off, slippery surfaces, moisture coming back to the surface.

💥 At the new multi-storey car park silo of Thermo Fisher Scientific in Monza, near Milan, Italy, on the top level of the structure the requirement was clear:
a system that is breathable, waterproof, safe, and applicable all year round.

💣 The solution was a complete system by Winkler, starting with ONE® PRIMER to ensure optimal adhesion even on damp substrates, followed by ONE® FLOORING:
a liquid, pigmented, single-component waterproofing system, UV-resistant and specifically formulated to ensure waterproofing, traffic resistance and long-term protection of treated substrates.

How do you waterproof a viaduct before laying asphalt at 180°C?

👉🏻 Waterproofing a surface designed to receive hot asphalt means dealing with severe thermal shock, high mechanical stress and the risk of detachment or cracking.
In a viaduct project in Italy, the membrane had to withstand temperatures of up to 180°C, while maintaining elasticity, adhesion and long-term stability.

💥 The answer came from Winkler Research & Development with ONE® TAR, a liquid waterproofing and protective membrane specifically designed for applications under extreme conditions.
