The Mondovì sports arena is ready to welcome fans for the new season! 💥

The intervention involved the protection and waterproofing of over 300 sqm of stands, with a clear objective: to make the central grandstand ready for daily public use.

For a surface designed for high footfall, the coating needed to meet specific requirements: eco-compatibility, waterproofing, a VOC Free surface, a suitable coefficient of friction and fire reaction requirements for high-occupancy environments.

🧐 Do you need to waterproof a swimming pool in a high-end architectural setting?

In an exclusive villa in Porto Cervo, the intervention involved 130 sqm of private swimming pool. In a setting like this, choosing the right system is not only about waterproofing performance.

The final finish matters too: 🎨 colour, visual continuity, integration with the surrounding surfaces and consistency with the style of the villa.

For the system, the following products were used:

👉🏻 WINFIX WET, a two-component epoxy-cement system, selected to treat the substrate and create a suitable base, even in the presence of moisture.

👉🏻 WINFIX UNIVERSAL, a two-component primer based on epoxy resins in water dispersion, applied as an adhesion bridge before the final coating.

👉🏻 WINPAINT, a two-component, water-based coloured polyurethane resin, applied in two coats to protect the surface and achieve a finish in keeping with the architecture of the villa.

A system designed to combine waterproofing, protection and visual continuity in a setting where every detail needs to work with the sea, the light and the architectural design.

At Hotel Palace Como, the of the access ramps to the private garage required a precise solution 💥, capable of combining resistance to vehicle traffic, substrate protection and eco-compatibility.

🎯 For these reasons, ®FLOORING was chosen: a liquid, pigmented, single-component waterproofing protective coating, formulated to ensure waterproofing, suitability for vehicular traffic and long-lasting protection for treated substrates.

The high-profile nature of the setting, a five-star lakefront hotel, required a system compliant with the eco-compatibility standards set out for the project and had a reaction-to-fire classification, without compromising the technical performance needed for a driveable surface.

🎯 How do you waterproof a swimming pool set within a historic 1920s villa, in the heart of Sardinia?

In Bosa, in a period villa overlooking the coast, the intervention required the complete waterproofing of a pool within a historic architectural setting: perimeter walls, joints and the pool edge each required a dedicated technical solution, capable of respecting the constraints of the original project without compromising its integrity.

The system included:
🔸 SCUDO SYSTEM® for waterproofing the external walls, protecting the load-bearing structure against water ingress
🔸 BOND CEMENT for tiling, ensuring adhesion and continuity of the waterproofing system
🔸 BC SEAL BAND for sealing the corners, among the most critical points for long-term watertightness
🔸 WINSTUCCO EPOX for grouting, completing the waterproof barrier
🔸 SKERMO TERRAZZE for the pool edge, a surface exposed to UV rays and thermal variations

Each product was selected to work in synergy with the others and contribute to the overall protection of the structure.

Do constant forklift traffic, static loads, oils and solvents put your industrial flooring to the test?

At a Military facility in Italy, approximately 1,000 m² of flooring was restored to convert an area previously used for vehicle storage and as a small mechanical workshop into a new machinery storage facility.

To meet the operational requirements of the floor, the UNIBAR system by was selected:

👉🏻 UNIBAR SCREED to rebuild missing sections and repair holes, cracks and uneven areas.
👉🏻 UNIBAR FORMULA, used as a primer to consolidate and prepare the substrate.
👉🏻 UNIBAR G for the grey pigmented epoxy finish, resistant to static indentation, water, oils, common solvents and wear.

The result is a fully restored industrial floor, ready to withstand the daily demands of its new operational environment.

A penthouse terrace is considered a real asset, but when leaks appear, it can quickly become a serious issue.

The causes included residual moisture in the substrate, continuous thermal shocks, constant foot traffic and intensive use of the outdoor space.

👉 For this challenge, we chose ONE® Flooring by : a single-component, pigmented liquid system that can also be applied on damp or wet substrates and at temperatures as low as 0°C.

What is the real challenge when working on an outdoor floor in a sports centre? 🏃🏻

Daily foot traffic, moving equipment, exposure to the elements and continuous mechanical stress: at Sport Village Ferrero in Alba, the intervention on the existing porcelain stoneware outdoor floor had to meet very specific requirements.

👉 This is why a complete system was chosen:

- Primer, to prepare the substrate and ensure proper adhesion to the porcelain stoneware.
- UNIBAR T, a two-component, water-based, breathable epoxy resin, ideal for multi-layer flooring systems, even in the presence of moisture.

For the new Museo Torregiana project, the roof of the new building was waterproofed to become an accessible roof garden, designed to integrate with the surrounding green areas.

❌ The critical point? Working on a damp substrate without compromising the installation of the membranes, even in less-than-ideal weather conditions.

✅ The solution came from the collaboration between and Vetroasfalto: WINFIX WET by Winkler, used as a primer to lock in moisture from the substrate. It is a two-component, thixotropic epoxy-cementitious system, specifically formulated to cure on damp cementitious substrates, both indoors and outdoors, enabling the safe installation of the Maxi Project anti-root adhesive waterproofing system.

A technical intervention designed to prepare the roof for its future roof garden, with a waterproofing system that is durable, reliable and suited to the real conditions of the construction site.
