ooked by new and returning customers, the company has already successfully flown 44 payloads. D-Orbit is the first company to address the logistics needs of the space market. Its forward-thinking view has enabled it to consistently create solutions for its customers that save them money and time, like ION Cargo Spacecraft, a vehicle that can transport satellites in orbit and release them individually into distinct orbital slots, and a proprietary cloud-based mission control software suite designed to control entire satellite constellations. As it looks to the future, D-Orbit is already developing and testing new technologies to extend the life of satellites in orbit, perform active debris removal, enable interplanetary space logistics, and more. D-Orbit is creating an infrastructure that will broaden humankind’s opportunities to operate in space and colonize the solar system.

🔎 Customer Spotlight 🔎

Today, we're highlighting Weather Stream 🛰️ and its GEMS2-Amethyst payload, launched through D-Orbit's launch and deployment services aboard a Falcon 9 on the recent Transporter-16 mission.

In addition to ION Satellite Carrier missions, D-Orbit provides launch and deployment services leveraging third-party launchers and dedicated deployment systems, an ideal solution for missions requiring a straightforward path to orbit.

GEMS2-Amethyst is a second-generation dual-band passive microwave radiometer with expanded spectral coverage, designed to observe global weather by retrieving atmospheric temperature, moisture, and precipitation profiles. Building on previous mission heritage, the system contributes to expanding the global weather observation network, supporting improved numerical weather prediction, environmental monitoring, and operational decision-making for both government and commercial users.

We are glad to have supported WeatherStream's mission to space! 🚀
