Informal talks (back-to-back, as in a marathon) will be given and students/postdocs/researchers posters will be presented during a dedicated dinner session.

During the GaN Marathon we had the great opportunity to interview Srabanti Chowdury, Professor at Stanford University.

We asked the professor to comment on the diversity of the people involved into the electrical engeneering research in the world and what is the best idea she heard from one of her students.
Last, we asked the professor probably one of the most difficult quesitons possible, listen until the end of the interview to know about it!

During the GaN Marathon we had the great opportunity to interview Patrick Fay, Professor at University of Notre Dame.

We asked the professor about his journey to Florence and the experience as a Short Course lecturer at GaN Marathon. We then asked what he expects to be more relevant in the future: lateral or vertical devices and why. Last we asked the professor for a suggestion about next GaN Marathon venue!
