Founded in 1932 thanks to Spartaco Mamoli’s entrepreneurial insight, over time the company has established itself as a key-player both on the Italian and the international panorama in the production of taps and fittings characterized by a strong aesthetic and technological research. Today a dialogue with the world of the project and the pursuit of a rigorous “made in Italy” production in its plants in Milan give rise to unique design products in terms of their formal elegance and technical performance. Mamoli srl is based in Lacchiarella (Milan), where production, logistics and offices are distributed over an area of 34,000 m2. It is present with a widespread distribution network in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

One month on from Cersaie, we look back at the project through which Mamoli presented its vision of the Gio Ponti Total Bathroom. Tapware, ceramics and accessories came together in a coherent universe of forms, proportions and colours, with Ponti Z, the collection designed by the Master in 1953, at its heart — bringing past and present into dialogue.

Designed by Gio Ponti in 1953, Ponti Z brings the Master’s distinctive design language into the contemporary bathroom through essential lines, balanced proportions and a signature tailored edge that defines the washbasin, bidet and WC. The collection combines the original design with contemporary functionality: the WC is reinterpreted in a back-to-wall version and features Mamoli Vortex for a quiet, efficient flush with reduced water consumption.

From the archives to the present day, Gio Ponti's iconic bathroom design preserves the original spirit of a visionary designer who transformed everyday objects into timeless expressions of Italian design. Designed by Gio Ponti in 1953, the three-hole wall-mounted basin tap embodies his distinctive approach to design: geometric, functional and unmistakably iconic.
The original Gio Ponti Z sanitary collection, seen at Spazio , is now re-edited by Mamoli.

At , Mamoli presents the Gio Ponti Total Bathroom, bringing together the Gio Ponti tapware collection, the Montecatini washbasin, accessories and the reissue of Ponti Z, the iconic bathroom collection designed by the Master in 1953.
Reintroduced today in a new colour palette, Ponti Z completes Mamoli’s Gio Ponti universe with a pedestal washbasin, bidet and WC, bringing a project in which form, colour and function come together naturally into the present.
A tribute to Gio Ponti’s poetic vision and his unique way of interpreting everyday life.
