SOFTER GROUP

SOFTER GROUP We have been producing thermoplastic compounds for over 30 years. We provide our customers with tailor-made solutions and support their projects success.

www.softergroup.com The SO.F.TER. GROUP is among the top three independent compounders in Europe and one of the most important in the world. SO.F.TER. debut on the market in 1980, with the production of thermoplastic compounds for the footwear industry, proves to be a success. Since the first years after its foundation, SO.F.TER. has been diversifying its product range to meet the increasing dema

nd for high-technology plastic materials, so the TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomers) Division is established in 1994 as a separate structure entrusted with the development of TPE and their possible applications in many technical industries such as the automotive, household appliances, furniture, building and sports. A second division dedicated to the study, development and marketing of plastomer-based compounds is set up in 1997 under the acronym ETP (Engineering Thermoplastics). From 2005 SO.F.TER has been continuously expanding in Italy (Mantua and Ferrara) and all over the world (Brazil, Mexico, Germany). As part of a renewed innovation-driven strategy the new Research Centre was inaugurated in 2008, with the task of promoting the technological innovation in the group divisions and companies. Twenty-five years after its foundation, SO.F.TER. boasts a world-class know-how in the production of polymeric compounds and it offers a wide set of products ranging from the softest thermoplastic rubbers to the toughest plastics.
