Understanding technology, contributing to the team, and getting hands-on.✨

That's what our summer intern Tobias came to micros for. He's spending his summer with our electrical engineering team.
"I chose micros because I'm interested in technology and wanted to see what day-to-day work at a tech company actually looks like."

His days are varied: wiring devices, testing them, helping with assembly, and picking up new processes as he goes. What he enjoys most is solving problems together with the team:
"The most interesting part is watching how problems get solved here — how a fault is analyzed, the root cause is found, and then fixed."

And he has a clear goal for the weeks ahead:
"I'm looking forward to getting more hands-on experience and building up my technical knowledge." 🚀

Well-thought-out system design. Efficient processes. 💥

At micros , we don't just look at individual components — we look at the entire process.

A clearly structured workspace and a continuous material flow are the foundation for this. Components are fed exactly where they're needed and moved through each process step — keeping travel distances short, process reliability high, and operations efficient. 🚀

At the same time, the system stays easily accessible — an important factor for maintenance, service, and future modifications.

For us, modern automation is more than high-performance robotics.

Summer Internship at micros: Alex is right in the middle of the action! ☀️⚙️

This summer, Alex is supporting our mechanical engineering department and gaining firsthand insight into how our machines come together.

He first came across micros during earlier internships:

"I saw several machines that were designed and built at micros. That sparked my interest — I wanted to experience for myself how machines like these are created."

His day-to-day work is anything but monotonous. Alex creates and edits 2D manufacturing drawings, models 3D components, and contributes to a variety of machines and projects.

"That way, I'm constantly taking on new tasks and getting real insight into the different steps of the engineering process."

Alex especially enjoys sharpening his Inventor skills while building a deeper understanding of our machines and the processes behind them.

"What I enjoy most is designing something myself and bringing my own ideas to life." 💡

His feedback on the work environment made us especially happy:

"When I have questions, people take the time to help, and we support each other. My team in mechanical engineering made me feel welcome right from the start." 🙌

Successful Commissioning in Hungary! 🇭🇺

We are pleased to announce the successful commissioning of another system at our customer GKN Automotive in Hungary. 🚀

Working closely with the on-site team, we were able to successfully implement and commission the machine. Projects like this demonstrate once again how important close collaboration and smooth communication are — especially in international projects. 🌍

We look forward to continuing our partnership and working on future projects.
