BraYn Conference 2026 has come to an end. And what a journey it has been. Etna challenged our plans. Flights were disrupted. Reaching Catania became an adventure.

But you came. And that means everything.

To our wonderful invited speakers, thank you for inspiring us. To our sponsors, thank you for believing in young scientists. To Symposia, thank you for making everything possible with extraordinary dedication.
But above all, THANK YOU TO OUR PARTICIPANTS. ❤️

You reminded us that science is more than discoveries. It is about people, passion, resilience and the determination to move forward together.

Today, the BraYn Conference 2026 officially began — and before talking about science, sessions, speakers or posters, there is something we simply need to say:

THANK YOU. Truly.

The last few days have not been easy.
Etna reminded us that getting to Catania sometimes requires a little extra determination 🌋✈️.

Flights were disrupted, plans changed, journeys became longer and more complicated.

And yet, you came.

Seeing so many of you here today — especially knowing the effort that some of you made to reach us — means more to the entire BraYn team than we can say.

Thank you for trusting us.
Thank you for not giving up.
Thank you for bringing your science, your enthusiasm and your energy to Catania. ❤️

And the best part?
