Matteo joins Antares Electrolysis with a strong background in materials science, micro- and nanofabrication, thin-film deposition, and advanced materials characterization.
After earning his PhD in Materials Science and Technology at the Università degli Studi di Genova, Matteo continued his research activity between the University of Genova and Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, working on nanostructured materials, scalable fabrication processes, photonic and optoelectronic systems, and advanced characterization techniques.
At Antares, Matteo will reinforce a capability that is central to our technological roadmap: understanding materials not only as components, but as engineered interfaces where electrochemistry, mechanics, transport phenomena, and durability meet.
For us, materials are not a passive part of the stack. They are where performance, reliability, and manufacturability are built.
We are thrilled to welcome you to Antares, Matteo.

Our team is growing.
Anna joins Antares Electrolysis after completing her studies in Chemical and Sustainable Process Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, with research experience at Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden.
Her work has focused on sustainable process engineering, laboratory research, carbon capture technologies, NaOH regeneration processes, FTIR characterization, data analysis, and safe operation in international research environments.
Anna’s position has been made possible within the framework of our activities with Area Science Park, whom we sincerely thank for helping make this step possible.
At Antares, Anna will strengthen a key capability for our next phase: connecting electrochemical technology with process engineering, laboratory discipline, sustainability, and safety.
For us, building electrolyzers is not only about designing a stack. It is about developing a complete technological system, where materials, chemistry, process conditions, data, and operational safety must converge into reliable engineering.
We are thrilled to welcome you to Antares, Anna.

News from Valencia. We are particularly proud to share that our CTO, Sebastiano Bellani, contributed with a talk among some of the leading players in the European green hydrogen landscape at SEAL-HYDROGEN. Being part of a discussion at this level is not something we take for granted. It reflects the work being carried out and the growing recognition of our approach.
The workshop proved to be not only technically rich, but also genuinely stimulating in terms of exchange, perspective, and structure.
Sharing the stage with key actors of the European hydrogen ecosystem is, for us, both an honour and a responsibility.
We move forward with even greater determination.
Avanti tutta.

Yesterday in Maranello our CEO Andrea Riva talked about hydrogen and the electrochemical pathway as a concrete industrial route. Another pitch on a prestigious stage. Thanks to Nuovamacut for the opportunity. Receiving an award in this context was unexpected, but more importantly it reflects a growing recognition of electrochemical technologies as a concrete industrial pathway.

Today, an article about Antares Electrolysis has been published in Il Secolo XIX, written by journalist Francesco Margiocco.
It was a genuinely enjoyable and insightful interview, which led to a well-crafted piece that clearly captures both our work and the vision behind it.
This continued visibility means more to us than simple exposure. It reflects a form of support that we deeply value, coming from a broader community that recognizes the importance of the path we are on. That support is not neutral: it transforms Antares from a purely entrepreneurial initiative into something larger, shared, and collective.
The energy transition is not a niche topic, but a direction that is "felt" by everyone, that "belongs" to everyone.
Full speed ahead, with the ambition to make a real difference.

𝐁𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐄-𝐀𝐄𝐌 marks a significant milestone for Antares Electrolysis.

For a second-year startup, 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 of this scale is not just a recognition. It is a 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 of our industrial and technological roadmap.

The project is 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧: AEM stack scalability, cost reduction, performance and lifetime improvement, and advanced manufacturing integration. This is not abstract research. It is industrial development with measurable and ambitious targets.

Work has already started, and from the very beginning the quality of the consortium has been evident. Complementary expertise, rigorous engineering mindset, open exchange of ideas and know-how. Working side by side with top-tier partners is a true capability multiplier.

For Antares, this project represents a 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐭. It strengthens our technology roadmap, reinforces our industrial credibility, and accelerates the transition from development to meaningful scale demonstration.

Competitive hydrogen in Europe requires scale, integration, and collaboration. SCALE-AEM moves decisively in that direction.

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐭.
