Matteo joins Antares Electrolysis with a strong background in materials science, micro- and nanofabrication, thin-film deposition, and advanced materials characterization.
After earning his PhD in Materials Science and Technology at the Università degli Studi di Genova, Matteo continued his research activity between the University of Genova and Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, working on nanostructured materials, scalable fabrication processes, photonic and optoelectronic systems, and advanced characterization techniques.
At Antares, Matteo will reinforce a capability that is central to our technological roadmap: understanding materials not only as components, but as engineered interfaces where electrochemistry, mechanics, transport phenomena, and durability meet.
For us, materials are not a passive part of the stack. They are where performance, reliability, and manufacturability are built.
We are thrilled to welcome you to Antares, Matteo.
