It was an important day for Antares.

It marked the official closing of the round, through which ๐ฐ๐ž ๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ฌ๐ž๐ ๐š ๐ญ๐จ๐ญ๐š๐ฅ ๐จ๐Ÿ โ‚ฌ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ“๐ŸŽ,๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ, exceeding our initial target of โ‚ฌ350,000. But above all, it gave us the opportunity to share with our investors what their contribution is already making possible.

The people who chose to support Antares were able to visit our spaces, meet the team, and see first-hand the flow cells, stacks, and components that represent the core of our industrial product portfolio.

It was also an opportunity to ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ง ๐š ๐ฉ๐š๐ญ๐ก ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐ข๐š๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฎ๐ž, ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ฌ๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ฒ that we want to build over the ๐ฅ๐จ๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฆ with those who chose to ๐›๐ž๐ฅ๐ข๐ž๐ฏ๐ž ๐ข๐ง ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ ๐›๐ž๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ .

For an industrial startup, sustainability must be built on revenues, customers, and the ability to bring real products to market.

But investment rounds play a fundamental role: they ๐š๐œ๐œ๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ž growth.

And when capital arrives at an early stage, its impact is even more significant. It allows a company to anticipate key decisions, build capabilities, strengthen the team, validate the technology more rapidly, and turn an entrepreneurial vision into an industrial reality.

For us, the value of this round is not only financial.

These resources come from ๐ฉ๐ž๐จ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ž ๐ฐ๐ก๐จ ๐›๐ž๐ฅ๐ข๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐€๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐๐š๐ฒ ๐จ๐ง๐ž and who continue to show us trust, attention, and concrete support.

We feel a strong responsibility to ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐œ๐š๐ฉ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ฅ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐›๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐›๐ฅ๐ž ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ž: not only in financial terms, but also in terms of ๐ ๐ซ๐จ๐ฐ๐ญ๐ก, ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ๐ฌ, ๐ฌ๐ค๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฌ, ๐ž๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฒ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ, ๐ญ๐ž๐œ๐ก๐ง๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐ข๐ฆ๐ฉ๐š๐œ๐ญ.

The road ahead is difficult. We know that well. But with a team like this, and with investors who support us with this quality of presence and trust, we feel stronger, clearer, and more determined.

We are delighted to share our latest publication in the leading journal Chem Catalysis by Cell Press:
โ€œScalable conformal MoSโ‚“ catalyst for efficient hydrogen evolution at industrial-level current density in alkaline electrolyzersโ€

https://lnkd.in/dHdT57tC

Congratulations to Dr. Zuo, first author of the work, and to the whole team at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, in particular the Nanochemistry Department led by our co-founder Liberato Manna, with the contribution of Antares' CSO Michele Ferri, Antares' CTO Sebastiano Bellani and Antares's researcher Thi Hong Hanh Le (Hana).
At Antares Electrolysis S.r.l., we are glad to have contributed to this research by supporting the experimental validation of innovative electrolyzer components under reliable and application-relevant operating conditions. Our mission is to support research and R&D teams in transforming promising scientific innovations into robust, testable and eventually implementable solutions for real electrolyzer stacks, our core business.
This work addresses one of the key challenges for green hydrogen technologies: developing scalable, cost-effective and high-performance PGM-free MoSโ‚“-based electrodes show promising performance for the alkaline hydrogen evolution reaction at industrially relevant current densities. It highlight the importance of bridging the gap between material discovery and real device validation.
This is exactly where robust electrochemical hardware becomes essential.
Antaresโ€™ flow cell fixtures are designed to provide reliable, reproducible and high-precision testing platforms for the validation of new electrolyzer components, including catalysts, electrodes, membranes, porous transport layers and complete MEA configurations. From early-stage material screening to long-term durability testing, high-quality fixtures are a critical tool to generate trustworthy data and accelerate technology development.
Beyond this specific study, our products are conceived to support R&D teams working across different electrolysis platforms, including AEM, alkaline, PEM, COโ‚‚ electrolysis and other emerging electrochemical technologies. By enabling accurate testing under controlled and relevant conditions, Antares aims to help researchers and companies move faster from laboratory innovation to scalable green hydrogen solutions.
We are excited to support the scientific and industrial community in advancing the next generation of electrolyzers and contributing to a more sustainable energy future.
Again, congratulations again to Yong Zuo, Liberato Manna, Michele Ferri, Sebastiano Bellani, Thi Hong Hanh Le (Hana) and the entire team involved in this excellent work.
