Last week, the SEC team visited Flon Gaskets in Sovere.
Founded in 1983 and acquired in 2012, Flon Gaskets is the group’s sister company specializing in high-volume production: up to 600,000 parts per day, 55 people, three shifts.
Valve seats, rings, backup rings, small components that demand enormous precision.

Among the surprises, the old sign with the original logo.
We held it up together: the next fifty years start from here too.

EU and FDA compliance: fluorseals has completed a review of its fluteck™ range in line with the latest regulatory standards and the most recent guidance from the production supply chain.

The HARD CARBON – CARBON COKE compound is no longer certifiable under FDA requirements.

The EU/FDA-certified range includes over 70 materials: virgin PTFE, compounds filled with glass fibre, graphite, MoS₂, aromatic polyester and PEEK and, as an alternative to the carbon-based grade, the new carbon-soft series, an engineered solution with full EU compliance (FDA approval currently pending).

Before anything enters production, our IEH team - Integrated Engineering Hub, gets involved.

Material selection. Feasibility analysis. Tolerance validation. Cost engineering.

It studies the application, tests the compounds, and defines the right process, whether it’s a PTFE seal for a semiconductor chamber or a custom-filled component for Oil & Gas.

This is where customer support really starts.
Not from the order, but from engineering.
