Done.

This is a Pardini PGP75 grip we brought back to life. Modeled on the original geometry, but in a custom XS size for this shooter.
It mounts the original weights.
We don't just print plastic; we re-engineer old grips so these old glories can get back on the firing line, where they belong.

Focusing on practical function.

The surface is made of many small round cells.
The open pattern helps the fingers hold the grip and lets air move around the hand, helping moisture dry instead of staying trapped.

The shape keeps the familiar and most recent ergonomics of the Feinwerkbau 900 series and can be adapted to earlier Feinwerkbau models, available in sizes S, M, L and for right- and left-handed shooters.

It is made with an industrial 3D printing process called HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) using PA12 nylon, a strong material often used for real mechanical parts.

The natural texture of this material already feels grippy in the hand.

Feedback is always welcome.
Some test units for Feinwerkbau 900 and 700/800 will be available soon for shooting clubs and teams.

Evolution of the match grip: KrakenGrip 3D for Feinwerkbau

This project represents the second iteration of our research into ventilated high-friction surfaces. The KrakenGrip 3D was engineered to solve the trade-off between tactile mechanical grip and thermal comfort during long competition strings.

Moving away from traditional flat checkering, we’ve implemented an open-cell spherical architecture.

Multi-directional geometry provides superior grip compared to standard textures. Hollow structure facilitates constant moisture evaporation, keeping the palm dry under pressure.

The grip profile maintains the proven ergonomics of the Feinwerkbau 900 series.
Compatibility: FWB 900, 800, and 700 (adjusted screw spacing).

Sizing: Available in S, M, and L (Right and Left-handed versions).

Every grip is uniquely generated and made to order.
Lead Time: Approximately 4 weeks (unless in-stock units are available).

This project focused on developing a custom grip for the Feinwerkbau 900 rifle.
The objective was to maintain the original ergonomic profile while significantly improving palm ventilation and overall grip during competition.

Airflow Geometry: The grip features a specialized open-lattice structure designed to maximize breathability without compromising structural integrity.
Ergonomics: Despite the ventilated design, a wide support surface has been maintained to ensure consistent hand placement and stability.
Manufacturing: 3D printed with high-performance composite materials for a balance of lightweight properties and durability.

🛠️ Case Study: Restoration and 3D Replication of a Matchgun MG5 Free Pistol Grip

​This project involved the recovery of a customized MG5 grip that had become unusable. Over years of use, the extensive manual modifications (putty/filler) had begun to crumble, leading the shooter to stop using it to avoid further damage.

​Technical Process:
​Data Acquisition: A high-resolution 3D scan was performed to capture the exact geometry and ergonomic adjustments of the original piece.
​Manufacturing: The component was re-engineered and 3D printed using a carbon fiber reinforced composite material, chosen for its structural integrity.
​Post-Processing: The high-grip surface texture was applied manually after printing to ensure the necessary friction levels for competition use.

​Specifications:
​Mass Optimization: Weight reduced from 350g (original with filler) to 230g.
​Data Archiving: The digital model remains on file, allowing for identical replicas or adaptation to different pistol frames in the future.
