On the centenary of his birth, we remember 𝐀𝐥𝐝𝐨 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚, a key figure in the history of both SACMI and the Italian ceramic industry.
The first engineer and the first university graduate to be hired by SACMI, he accelerated the Cooperative's growth with a combination of vision, skill and trust in the future.

SACMI, anche quest'anno, rinnova il proprio impegno aderendo a “Bike to Work”, l'iniziativa che incentiva gli spostamenti casa-lavoro in bicicletta, promossa dalla Regione Emilia-Romagna e cofinanziata dal Comune di Imola.

Ogni tragitto percorso su due ruote significa meno traffico, meno emissioni e un contributo concreto a una mobilità più sostenibile.
Nel 2025, oltre 200 persone SACMI hanno scelto di partecipare al progetto, percorrendo più di 110.000 km in bicicletta e contribuendo a risparmiare oltre 15 tonnellate di CO₂.
Un risultato che dimostra come anche i gesti quotidiani possano generare un impatto concreto, in linea con l'impegno di SACMI per la sostenibilità e con il principio Up to Us: il cambiamento dipende dalle scelte di ciascuno di noi.

Italiansped has successfully coordinated the transport of a SACMI press from Imola to , Sweden, overseeing every stage of the project: from port procedures to loading, from in-voyage monitoring to final delivery to the customer.

This complex international logistics operation – involving a cargo that was exceptionally heavy, bulky and fragile - was managed effectively thanks to the team’s expertise and precise coordination of the individual tasks.
