Kessel Racing secure their second consecutive GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup Teams’ title together with NOPE Engineering 🏆

At the Nürburgring, Dennis Marschall, Lorenzo Patrese and Constantin Dressler, who stepped in for Dustin Blattner while he continues his recovery from the Magny-Cours crash, finished third in a far from straightforward race.

A contact at the start could be dramatic for the Ferrari #8 but it turned the race into an all-out fight, with the trio fighting their way back through the field to secure the podium and, more importantly, mathematically clinch the Teams’ championship.

For NOPE Engineering, this marks our first championship title of the season, after another campaign working alongside Kessel Racing.

Among the people who played a key role in this achievement is our engineer Erik Turlejski, who has been involved throughout the season.

Another season, another title. 🏆

Riparte dal circuito del Nürburgring la nostra avventura con Kessel Racing nel GTWC Endurance. Un weekend tutto incentrato sulla partenza lanciata che alle 15:00 coinvolgerà le 55 vetture GT3 iscritte al nuovo round della serie continentale.

Il nostro ingegnere Erik Turlejski è già ai box del team svizzero dove, per l'occasione, Constantin Dressler prende il posto di Dustin Blattner sulla berlinetta della Casa di Maranello n.74. Al suo fianco torna Lorenzo Patrese e si conferma l'esperto Dennis Marschall. La gara, della durata di 3 ore, terminerà alle soglie del tramonto. Spettacolo garantito, noi siamo pronti!

Gara su due fronti quella andata in scena questo weekend a Spa. La seconda parte della nostra stagione sportiva in pista, infatti, si può definire a due volti: da una parte abbiamo conquistato un importante secondo posto con la n.17 (guidata da David Fumanelli e Lorenzo Innocenti) dietro la vettura gemella di Kessel Racing vincitrice nella Michelin Le Mans Cup, non scontato nella lotta tra le decine di prototipi LMP3 e vetture GT3 iscritte al campionato sponsorizzato dal famoso Marchio di pneumatici francese. Bravo al nostro ingegnere Erik Turlejski.

Dall'altra una gara purtroppo conclusa nelle retrovie per la Ferrari 296 LMGT3 n.74. Pronto il riscatto tra due weekend, dove a Silverstone entrambi i campionati segneranno un ulteriore passo avanti nella stagione.

Sorriso a metà per NOPE Engineering, ma la prossima sfida è dietro l'angolo...

Dopo la pausa estiva si riparte dall'università del motorsport, la mitica Spa-Francorchamps! Siamo impegnati su due fronti tra le Ardenne, sempre tra le fila di Kessel Racing: da una parte il nostro Maurizio Soro è ai box della vettura n.74 iscritta tra le fila dell'ELMS, guidata dal trio Fran Rueda, Andrew Gilbert e Romain Leroux.

Si cambia categoria, ma la vettura è sempre la Ferrari 296 GT3, per il terzo round della Michelin Le Mans Cup: qui, dopo gli ottimi riscontri nelle prime prove libere, il nostro Erik Turlejski sta lavorando sulle performance della n.17 guidata da David Fumanelli e Lorenzo Innocenti.

Un weekend intenso, l'ennesima sfida. La seconda parte della stagione riparte da qui, e non potrebbe esserci luogo migliore!

NOPE Engineering torna sulle pagine di Formulacritica con una nuova intervista dedicata al nostro percorso e alle attività che oggi caratterizzano il lavoro dell’azienda.

Dall’ingegneria di pista all’elettronica, dall’analisi dati allo sviluppo dei sistemi, l’intervista approfondisce il ruolo che competenze tecniche e integrazione tra diverse aree hanno assunto nel motorsport moderno.

Un’occasione per raccontare più da vicino il lavoro di NOPE Engineering e alcuni dei progetti sui quali siamo impegnati nel mondo GT ed endurance.

Before the track, there is the project.

A Formula SAE car doesn’t come to life when it hits the track.
It starts much earlier: with a CAD model, a workbench, a simulation, and a technical question that needs an answer.

That is the essence of the Design Event held by E-Racing Bergamo from the University of Bergamo at Kilometro Rosso: putting ideas, design choices and technical solutions to the test ahead of the team’s next Formula SAE challenges.

For NOPE Engineering, being involved also means this: creating a direct exchange between those who are still learning and those who make these same engineering decisions every day in professional motorsport.

Materials, components, technical consultancy and, above all, direct technical exchange. Our way of contributing to a project that is not simply a race car, but a moving laboratory for the engineers of tomorrow.

During the Design Event, Maurizio Soro, Filippo Zampierin and Mario Bertelli represented NOPE Engineering, sharing with the team their expertise and the experience gained in the field.

Because every design choice eventually reaches the moment when it stops being theory.

That moment is the track. And we’re getting close. 🏁

Il quarto appuntamento della F4 CEZ Championship ci ha regalato le ennesime soddisfazioni. NOPE Engineering ha chiuso alla grande la doppia manche a Most, impegnativo circuito situato in Repubblica Ceca.

Il giovane svedese Leo Nilsson ha colto due ottimi podi nella sua prima gara in livrea CRAM Motorsport : grazie ai consigli dei nostri Fabio Magnani e Ivan Ferrari (con quest'ultimo a supporto di tutto il team lombardo in qualità di Performance Engineer) il classe 2009 ha migliorato di sessione in sessione centrando tre piazzamenti nella Top 10 assoluta e tre podi tra i Rookie (2 secondi e un terzo posto).

Nuovo weekend, doppia sfida. Il nostro team si divide tra l'Autodromo di Most, dove i nostri Fabio e Ivan sono nei box di CRAM Motorsport per il quarto round del F4 CEZ Championship. Fabio si occupa della monoposto di Leo Nilsson, giovane promessa delle monoposto classe 2009, mentre Ivan sarà a supporto engineering a tutto il team.

Si vola a Magny-Cours per il nuovo round, serie Sprint, del GT World Challenge Europe: qui il nostro Erik Turlejski si occupa, a differenza delle precedenti gare, di entrambe le Ferrari 296 GT3 di Kessel. Da una parte la n.74 di Blattner/Marschall, dall'altro lato del box la n.27 di Marco Pulcini e David Fumanelli.

Un altro doppio round ricco di sfide, ed emozioni. Ora è tempo di concentrarsi e dare il massimo!

Between the timeless atmosphere of Le Mans Classic and the unique spirit of Monza Historic, we had the privilege of bringing some of motorsport's greatest legends back to the track.

From the iconic Jaguar XJR-12 to modern GT3 machinery such as Aston Martin, Corette and Lamborghini, every car tells a story of passion, innovation and competition. Seeing them back on track, surrounded by thousands of enthusiastic fans, is an experience that's hard to put into words.

Together with the Scott Sport team, it was an honour to work on these legendary machines and experience what it feels like to travel back in time... while still being in 2026.

Because some emotions never grow old. 🏁
