Reducing the healthcare workforce gap through automation: Europe’s organizational challenge.

According to the OECD-European Commission "Health at a Glance: Europe 2024" report, EU countries face a shortage of approximately 1.2 million healthcare workers relative to the minimum thresholds required for universal health coverage

To address this pressure, healthcare systems need to rethink their processes.

In Croatia, the Ministry of Health chose to intervene in a critical area: pharmaceutical management.

From our Sinteco Healthcare Automation division in Longarone, we implemented the ATHENA system across 41 Croatian hospitals to automate unit-dose medication management.
