Dall’8 al 10 ottobre, Dresda ha ospitato la 25ª edizione di Florian - Fachmesse für Feuerwehr, Zivil- und Katastrophenschutz, una delle principali fiere internazionali dedicate ai Vigili del Fuoco, alla Protezione Civile e alla gestione delle emergenze.

Con oltre 370 espositori provenienti da 11 Paesi e più di 25.000 visitatori, la manifestazione è stata un’importante occasione di incontro e confronto sulle tecnologie e sulle soluzioni più innovative per il settore del soccorso.

Anche Stem Deutschland ha preso parte all’evento, al fianco di , nostro Centro di assistenza tecnica autorizzato (CATA), consolidando una collaborazione preziosa e cogliendo nuove opportunità di confronto con i professionisti del settore.

From 8 to 10 October, Dresden hosted the 25th edition of Florian, one of the leading international trade fairs dedicated to firefighting, civil protection and emergency management.

Bringing together more than 370 exhibitors from 11 countries and over 25,000 visitors, the event provided a valuable platform for exchanging expertise and exploring the latest technologies and innovative solutions in the emergency response sector.

Stem Deutschland also took part in the event alongside Rettungstechnik Doll GmbH, our Authorised Technical Service Centre (CATA), further strengthening a valued partnership and creating new opportunities to engage with industry professionals.

Vom 8. bis 10. Oktober fand in Dresden die 25. Ausgabe der Florian statt, einer der führenden internationalen Fachmessen für Feuerwehr, Bevölkerungsschutz und Notfallmanagement.

Mit über 370 Ausstellern aus 11 Ländern und mehr als 25.000 Besuchern bot die Veranstaltung eine bedeutende Plattform für den fachlichen Austausch sowie die Präsentation neuester Technologien und innovativer Lösungen im Bereich des Rettungs- und Einsatzwesens.

Auch Stem Deutschland war gemeinsam mit der Rettungstechnik Doll GmbH, unserem autorisierten technischen Servicepartner (CATA), auf der Messe vertreten. Die Teilnahme bot Gelegenheit, die wertvolle Zusammenarbeit weiter zu festigen und neue Impulse aus dem Austausch mit Fachleuten der Branche zu gewinnen.

Quando arriva un’ambulanza, non sempre è chiaro che cosa significhino i segnali che utilizza né come reagire correttamente.

Che differenza c’è tra i soli lampeggianti e l’uso congiunto di luce blu e sirena? Se sono accese soltanto le luci bisogna comunque lasciare libero il passaggio? E davanti a un semaforo rosso, come ci si deve comportare per fare spazio senza creare un altro pericolo?

Sirene e lampeggianti indicano la modalità con cui viene svolto il servizio, ma non rivelano il codice clinico del paziente. Anche le regole cambiano a seconda dei dispositivi utilizzati e del Paese in cui ci si trova.

When an ambulance approaches, it is not always clear what its warning signals mean or how drivers should respond.

What is the difference between flashing lights alone and the combined use of blue lights and sirens? If only the lights are activated, should other road users still give way? And at a red traffic light, how should you make space without creating an additional hazard?

Sirens and flashing lights indicate how the emergency service is being carried out, but they do not reveal the patient’s clinical priority code. The rules also vary depending on the warning devices being used and the country in which you are driving.

Lorsqu’une ambulance arrive, il n’est pas toujours évident de comprendre ce que signifient les signaux qu’elle utilise ni comment réagir correctement.

Quelle est la différence entre l’utilisation des seuls feux clignotants et l’emploi conjoint des feux bleus et de la sirène ? Si seules les lumières sont activées, faut-il tout de même laisser le passage libre ? Et face à un feu rouge, comment faire de la place sans créer un danger supplémentaire ?

Les sirènes et les feux clignotants indiquent les modalités dans lesquelles le service d’urgence est assuré, mais ne révèlent pas le niveau de priorité clinique du patient. Les règles varient également en fonction des dispositifs utilisés et du pays dans lequel on se trouve.

Un nuovo centro di lavoro entra nel reparto CNC di Stem.

Si tratta di una macchina a cinque assi progettata per eseguire, con elevata precisione, lavorazioni complete su profili in alluminio, leghe leggere, PVC e acciaio.

Fresatura, foratura, filettatura e taglio possono essere gestiti in un unico ciclo. Il profilo viene lavorato su più lati senza continui riposizionamenti manuali e le morse si spostano automaticamente in base alle diverse operazioni.

Il sistema permette inoltre di ricavare più componenti dalla stessa barra, con un utilizzo più efficiente del materiale e una riduzione degli scarti e dei tempi morti.

Il nuovo centro di lavoro arricchisce un’area composta da macchine diverse e complementari, sviluppata a partire dal 2023. È allora che Stem ha scelto di internalizzare alcune delle lavorazioni più critiche, fino a quel momento affidate all’esterno.

Oggi una parte sempre più importante del processo produttivo può essere gestita direttamente in azienda, con maggiore controllo sui tempi, sulla precisione e sulla qualità del risultato.

Un investimento che rafforza la capacità produttiva di Stem e rende il reparto CNC ancora più completo e automatizzato.

A new machining centre has joined Stem’s CNC department.

The new five-axis machine is designed to perform complete machining operations on aluminium profiles, light alloys, PVC and steel with a high degree of precision.

Milling, drilling, threading and cutting can all be carried out within a single machining cycle. Profiles can be processed on multiple sides without repeated manual repositioning, while the clamps move automatically according to the operation being performed.

The system also makes it possible to produce several components from the same bar, improving material utilisation while reducing waste and idle time.

The new machining centre further enhances an area equipped with different yet complementary machines, developed progressively since 2023. That was the year Stem decided to bring some of its most critical machining operations in-house, having previously relied on external suppliers.

Today, an increasingly significant part of the production process can be managed directly within the company, providing greater control over lead times, precision and the quality of the final result.

An investment that strengthens Stem’s production capacity and makes its CNC department even more comprehensive and automated.

Un nouveau centre d’usinage rejoint l’atelier CNC de Stem.

Il s’agit d’une machine à cinq axes conçue pour réaliser, avec un haut niveau de précision, des opérations d’usinage complètes sur des profilés en aluminium, des alliages légers, du PVC et de l’acier.

Le fraisage, le perçage, le taraudage et la découpe peuvent être effectués au cours d’un seul cycle d’usinage. Le profilé peut être travaillé sur plusieurs faces sans repositionnements manuels répétés, tandis que les étaux se déplacent automatiquement en fonction des différentes opérations.

Le système permet également d’obtenir plusieurs composants à partir d’une même barre, optimisant ainsi l’utilisation de la matière tout en réduisant les chutes et les temps morts.

Ce nouveau centre d’usinage vient compléter un espace composé de machines différentes mais complémentaires, développé progressivement depuis 2023. C’est à cette date que Stem a choisi d’internaliser certaines des opérations d’usinage les plus critiques, jusque-là confiées à des prestataires externes.

Aujourd’hui, une part de plus en plus importante du processus de production peut être gérée directement en interne, avec un meilleur contrôle des délais, de la précision et de la qualité du résultat final.

Un investissement qui renforce la capacité de production de Stem et rend son atelier CNC encore plus complet et automatisé.

Venticinque edizioni raccontano anche quanto sia cambiato il mondo dell’emergenza. In questi giorni a REAS Salone Internazionale dell'Emergenza lo abbiamo visto ancora una volta da vicino. Tecnologie, mezzi e soluzioni continuano a evolvere insieme alle esigenze di chi opera ogni giorno nel soccorso.

Per Stem essere a Montichiari significa far parte di questo percorso e avere l’occasione di presentare il proprio lavoro a chi cerca strumenti sempre più efficaci, sicuri e adatti alle situazioni reali.

Sono state tre giornate intense, fatte di incontri, curiosità e tante persone che hanno scelto di fermarsi al nostro stand.

Grazie a tutti per aver condiviso con noi questa 25ª edizione di REAS e un grazie particolare a per essere passato a trovarci anche quest’anno.

Twenty-five editions also tell the story of how much the world of emergency response has changed. Over the past few days at REAS, we have once again seen that evolution first-hand. Technologies, vehicles and solutions continue to advance alongside the needs of those working in emergency response every day.

For Stem, being in Montichiari means being part of this journey and having the opportunity to showcase our work to professionals looking for solutions that are increasingly effective, safe and suited to real-world situations.

Vingt-cinq éditions témoignent aussi de l’évolution du monde des secours. Ces derniers jours à REAS, nous avons une nouvelle fois pu l’observer de près. Technologies, véhicules et solutions continuent d’évoluer au rythme des besoins de celles et ceux qui interviennent chaque jour sur le terrain.

Pour Stem, être présent à Montichiari, c’est prendre part à cette évolution et avoir l’occasion de présenter notre travail à des professionnels à la recherche de solutions toujours plus efficaces, sûres et adaptées aux situations réelles.

Dall’8 al 10 ottobre il Centro Fiera Montichiari ospiterà la 25ª edizione del Salone Internazionale dell’Emergenza, punto di riferimento in Italia per primo soccorso, protezione civile, antincendio e sicurezza.

Anche quest’anno Stem è orgogliosa di prendere parte alla manifestazione, che riunirà aziende, istituzioni, associazioni, volontari e professionisti provenienti da tutto il sistema dell’emergenza.

Una chiamata, una squadra che si attiva, un mezzo che parte. Nel soccorso ogni secondo conta, ma la velocità da sola non basta.

Oggi, 7 ottobre, si celebra il World Rescue Day, la Giornata mondiale del soccorso. Un’occasione per riconoscere il lavoro di chi interviene quando una persona si trova in pericolo.

Il soccorso non è un gesto isolato. È una catena che parte dalla prima richiesta di aiuto e prosegue con la valutazione, la stabilizzazione, il trasporto e il passaggio di consegne alla struttura sanitaria.

Dietro ogni intervento ci sono soccorritori, operatori sanitari, vigili del fuoco, forze dell’ordine e volontari. Persone formate per agire anche negli scenari più complessi, spesso con margini di errore minimi.

A loro va il nostro grazie. A chi ogni giorno è pronto a rispondere alla richiesta più importante, quella di aiuto.

A call comes in, a team springs into action, an emergency vehicle sets off. In rescue operations, every second counts, but speed alone is not enough.

Today, 7 October, we mark World Rescue Day, an opportunity to recognise the work of those who step in when someone’s life or safety is at risk.

Rescue is never an isolated act. It is a chain that begins with the initial call for help and continues through assessment, stabilisation, transport and handover to the healthcare facility.

Behind every response are rescuers, healthcare professionals, firefighters, law enforcement officers and volunteers. People trained to act even in the most complex scenarios, often with virtually no margin for error.

Our thanks go to them. To those who, every day, stand ready to answer the most important call of all: a call for help.

Un appel, une équipe qui se mobilise, un véhicule de secours qui prend la route. Dans les opérations de secours, chaque seconde compte, mais la rapidité ne suffit pas à elle seule.

Aujourd’hui, 7 octobre, nous célébrons la World Rescue Day, la Journée mondiale du secours. Une occasion de rendre hommage au travail de celles et ceux qui interviennent lorsqu’une personne se trouve en danger.

Le secours n’est jamais un geste isolé. Il s’inscrit dans une chaîne qui commence dès le premier appel à l’aide et se poursuit par l’évaluation, la stabilisation, le transport et la transmission à l’établissement de santé.

Derrière chaque intervention se trouvent des secouristes, des professionnels de santé, des sapeurs-pompiers, des membres des forces de l’ordre et des bénévoles. Des personnes formées pour agir même dans les situations les plus complexes, souvent avec une marge d’erreur extrêmement réduite.

C’est à eux que vont nos remerciements. À celles et ceux qui, chaque jour, sont prêts à répondre à l’appel le plus important : l’appel à l’aide.

Una fiera vale soprattutto per quello che ci si porta a casa.

Dal Mondial Secours Protection 2026 Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc torniamo con incontri, confronti e nuovi punti di vista condivisi con chi il soccorso lo vive ogni giorno sul campo.

A La Roche-sur-Foron abbiamo avuto l’occasione di mostrare da vicino le nostre soluzioni per il trasporto sanitario e le più recenti novità sviluppate da Stem MedEvac, ma soprattutto di ascoltare domande, esigenze ed esperienze di professionisti provenienti da realtà diverse.

È anche da questo confronto che nascono nuove idee e si continua a migliorare ciò che progettiamo.

Grazie a tutti coloro che sono passati ai nostri stand, hanno dedicato tempo ai nostri prodotti e si sono fermati a parlare con noi.

Da oggi al 3 ottobre debutta il Mondial Secours Protection 2026 Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc, che riunisce per la prima volta tre manifestazioni in un unico grande evento: il 132˚ Congrès national des sapeurs-pompiers de France, il salone internazionale dei professionisti del soccorso e della sicurezza e il Village des sapeurs-pompiers de France, aperto al pubblico.

Due sedi, La Roche-sur-Foron e Annecy, nel territorio alpino dell’Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc, tra laghi e montagne.

From today until 3 October, Mondial Secours & Protection 2026 – Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc makes its debut, bringing together three events for the first time as part of one major gathering: the 132nd Congrès national des sapeurs-pompiers de France, the international trade show for rescue and safety professionals, and the Village des sapeurs-pompiers de France, open to the general public.

Two venues, La Roche-sur-Foron and Annecy, set in the Alpine region of Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc, surrounded by lakes and mountains.

Stem will be waiting for you at the professional trade show at Rochexpo until 2 October, in Hall A, at stands B29 and A27. Among the products on display will be the R-3L XP stretcher support, the Spark and Spyke stretchers, as well as the latest solutions developed by the Stem MedEvac department.
