⚡ Yesterday, NatPower welcomed an institutional delegation from the Province of Gauteng, Republic of South Africa, at our Milan offices for a strategic exchange on long term cooperation in the energy and infrastructure transition.

The meeting included, among others, Sthembiso Dlamini, Group CEO of the Gauteng Growth and Development Agency, Muziwethu Mathema, Chief Economist of the Gauteng Growth and Development Agency, Mmathari J Mashao, Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa in Italy, and Pietro Francesco Mininni CEO of TEHA Africa and Associate Partner of TEHA Group.

👉 Gauteng represents the economic and industrial heart of South Africa and a key hub for growth across the African continent. In this context, NatPower’s role is to act as an energy enabler, supporting institutions and partners in shaping integrated, scalable and sustainable energy ecosystems, from strategic vision to long term ex*****on.

🌎 The discussion marked the beginning of a structured dialogue aimed at exploring how systemic energy solutions can contribute to durable economic development, resilience and shared value creation.

🏆 We are proud to announce that NatPower, through Project Scara, has been awarded 250 MWh of storage capacity under Terna’s MACSE auction in Southern Italy and the Islands (out of a total 10 GWh awarded in the auction).

🔋 As highlighted by Terna SpA, the auction attracted strong interest and was extremely competitive. The contracted plants from this first edition are expected to enter into operation in 2028.

This recognition reaffirms NatPower’s effectiveness and commitment as a key player in the energy transition. ⚡ 🌎
