IMPORTANT NOTICE

The Fuorisalone in Lambrate will no longer take place.

We want to thank everyone, visitors, exhibitors, journalists, partners, location owners, fitters and supporters of all kinds who have believed in the Lambrate Design District project all these years and allowed us to carry out a great and iconic event during the Milan Design Week.
The last Fuorisalone in Lambrate took place in 2019 with over 13,000 square meters set up, 400 international exhibitors and 100,000 visitors.
In 2020 due to the restrictions implemented to contain the spread of the pandemic and in 2021 the postponement of the Salone del Mobile to September made it impossible for us to carry out an event that lived up to the expectations of our exhibitors and visitors.
In the past two years, Lambrate has started an urban refunctionalization, leading to a transformation of many locations previously used as a stage for the events. This change has seen the conversion of over 60% of the square meters previously available for the Fuorisalone into residences. For this reason, from 2022 the Fuorisalone in Lambrate, as everyone knew it, will no longer be able to take place as the remaining locations do not guarantee the economic sustainability necessary for the entire event.
Studioagnelli, founder of the Lambrate Design District brand and Prodes Italia, a company that has organized events within the District since 2013 and has coordinated the entire event since 2018, dissolve their historic relationship to give life to other projects.

L'edizione del Lambrate Design District 2020 è rimandata al 5-10 settembre 2021. La scelta è dovuta alla diffusione del SARS-COV-2 a livello globale e alle conseguenti restrizioni nel campo delle attività produttive, sociali e dei trasporti. Il progetto di rigenerazione urbana promosso da Studio Agnelli per il quartiere di Lambrate tornerà nel 2021!

L'edizione del Lambrate Design District 2020 è rimandata al 13-18 aprile 2021. La scelta è dovuta alla diffusione del SARS-COV-2 a livello globale e alle conseguenti restrizioni nel campo delle attività produttive, sociali e dei trasporti. Il progetto di rigenerazione urbana promosso da Studio Agnelli per il quartiere di Lambrate tornerà nel 2021!

Dear friends,
unfortunately this year it will not be possible to realize, for the health emergency that is affecting us, neither the Salone del Mobile and of course the Milan Design Week, and in line with the decision taken by il Salone del Mobile we will meet you in 2021, to give life to one of the most innovative neighborhoods in the city.

The historic moment of extreme difficulty that we are experiencing has led us to this choice, both heartfelt and thoughtful, of maximum responsibility: the Lambrate Design District is postponed to next year.

It's a painful choice, but the only possible, given the unimaginable situation we are experiencing in these days, but we are sure that when all this will be gone, because we will make it together, we will go back to making Milan's heart beat with an event without precedents.

So will the 2021 edition, because history teaches us that after periods of crisis like these, vitality and creativity are the masters, and it will be our task, but above all the task of the many exhibitors and companies that will be involved, to surprise the large audience that has always followed and supported us all these years.

We will return to fill the spaces with innovations, to flood the streets of Lambrate with people, to crowd Via Conte Rosso with people, to make Via Ventura explode with vivacity, to make you travel the world in Via Massimiano, to make you walk and dance, speak and sing, observe and dream, to make you discover new scents and flavors, to let you touch and fly with your mind, to excite your soul and to fill your eyes with all those beautiful things that we can only imagine right now ... and it will be amazing.
